Appearance of Strade

Strade is a man of average height with wavy chocolate brown hair that reaches the back of his neck. His eyes are brown and his skin is tanned. Strade has stubble on his face and a scar on the left side of his chin. He has a tattoo on his left bicep of the same symbol as on his shirt sleeve.

History of Strade

Strade's original background is unknown, other than the fact that he is German-Canadian. It can be inferred that he has been killing for a long time, hence his skill and calm appearance. At some point in his life, Strade kidnapped a young male fox beastkin named Ren. Ren has apparently been with Strade for a few years, being kept captive via shock collar and intimidation by Strade.

Strade's Personality

As for his tendencies, Strade is the definition of a sexual sadist. This means that he finds sexual excitement in making others suffer, which can also be seen in several of his endings. This factor is one of the reasons why the dripping red heart is attainable for his character and him alone.

Ren Hana's appearance

During the first game, Ren is 19 years old. His natural features are simple shades of orange, white, and a dull black on the tops of his ears. Similar to his fur color, Ren has short red hair, some of the hair brushing his cheeks. His side and back hair softens and points out from his forehead hair. During his life with Strade, he only wore a white tank top with a pair of dark gray shorts, along with his steel collar with a red LED attached to it.

Ren Hana's Story

Ren's encounter with Strade began no differently than any of Strade's previous victims. Ren was dumped by a date, leaving him alone and depressed at the Braying Mule. Strade bought him a beer and, after listening to Ren lament about how lonely he was and how much his life sucked, poured a drink on Ren and led him out the back door under the pretense of taking him to the bathroom to clean up. It was around this time that his fox ears and tail appeared, immediately catching Strade's attention. Although Strade initially planned to murder Ren, the beastkin was so cowardly and desperate to please that Strade took a liking to him, leading Strade to make a special shock collar and keep Ren as his pet.

Ren Hana's Personality

Ren appears much more shy and withdrawn in the first game than in later games, running away from the player if he is scared and asking Strade for help if he is injured.
