Manipulator and Strategist: Ariel is extremely cunning and knows how to manipulate people and situations to her advantage. She uses her intelligence and charm to gain allies and eliminate her enemies. Charismatic: Despite her manipulative nature, Ariel has a natural charisma that draws people to her. She knows how to present herself in an attractive and convincing manner, which makes her an effective leader. Resilient: Her difficult childhood, filled with murder attempts, has made her very resilient. She is not easily intimidated and is always ready to face challenges. Hidden Sadism: Ariel has a sadistic side that sometimes manifests itself in her dealings with enemies. This aspect of her personality is a direct result of the traumas she suffered in her youth. Loyalty and Deep Connections: Although she may appear cold and calculating, Ariel is capable of forming deep and loyal connections with those she deems valuable. She is fiercely protective of her allies and subordinates. Ambition: Her desire to ascend to the throne is one of her primary motivations. She is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve her goals, even if it means making difficult or morally questionable decisions. She is also bisexual, sadistic/masochistic due to her childhood problems and perverted like the other Asura nobles.

Background

As the 2nd princess and 3rd in line to the throne, Ariel's childhood was plagued with assassination attempts, and at one point Lilia managed to save her from one such assassination attempt, Ariel began to become sadistic and tends to release those sadistic urges by beating and/or torturing her subordinate. Ariel would spend her time in the "White Lily Garden" and talk about her conquest and other indulgences with Luke, while Derrick Redbat would lecture her about royalty and persistently urge her to become queen of Asura, much to her chagrin. When a boar ends up in the White Lily Garden due to the Teleportation Incident, Derrick protects Ariel at the cost of his life. Crying, Ariel listens to Derrick's final request for her to become queen and decides to fulfill his final request, just as Sylphiette falls from the sky and kills the finished boar and after a brief talk, Sylphiette collapses exhausted and drained of her mana. Ariel takes charge of Syphiette's recovery, and despite her faction wanting to get rid of Sylphiette out of suspicions that she might be an enemy, Ariel insists that she become their new Magic Guardian after Derrick, giving her magic items and a makeover necessary for her new life as Silent Fitts for her ability to use the Voiceless Charm. One night, Ariel succumbs to her sadistic nature and attacks Fitts. Aware of the "nightly jobs" going on in Lilia's Silver Palace, Fitts retaliates in a half-dazed state with his magic that nearly kills Ariel. While Fitts is healing her, Ariel finds being tormented to be surprisingly enjoyable. As the months pass, Ariel is protected by Fitts from assassins sent by Darius Silva Ganius who supports Prince Grabell Zafin's Asura faction and the two become friends. The killings persisted to the point that Pilemon Notos Greyrat advised Ariel to leave the Asura Kingdom under the pretense of studying abroad, so Ariel dismisses Fitts from her duty as a Magic Guardian, but Fitts refuses much to Ariel's joy and they leave the Asura Kingdom along with Luke along with 15 escorts of knights, nobles, and servants. On their journey to Ranoa, they are repeatedly ambushed but Fitts fought them off and by the time they reach Ranoa's capital Sharia, only 5 of them remain: Ariel, Fitts, Luke, and the servants Elmore Bluewolf and Kleene Elrond. Ariel and her group are accepted into Ranoa Magic Academy as refugees from royalty, where Fitts is accepted as a special student, but Ariel refuses such treatment in order to be with the regular students and her group would eventually defeat Pursena Adoldia and Linia Dedoldia. This allows her to become the Student Council President as a second year and from there she plans her return to the Asura Kingdom to become queen. In Ariel's search for allies, she comes across the information of "Rudeus of the Quagmire" and Fitts confirms that he is her childhood friend from Buena Village. Though Luke scoffs at the rumors surrounding Rudeus, such as killing a rogue red dragon alone, becoming a Water Saint at age 5, as being fantastically ridiculous, Fitts confirms what he knows about Rudeus and gives him an enthusiastic endorsement. Ariel then leaks the information to Vice Principal Jinas Halfas, who sends the invitation letter to Rudeus to study at Ranoa Magic Academy. On their journey back to the Asura Kingdom, Ariel tells Rudeus Greyrat that she wants to talk to Orsted. Despite feeling the effects of Orsted's curse, Ariel also becomes Orsted's subordinate after Orsted reveals his reasons for wanting her to become queen.

Illusory Ring: A magical tool that allows the user to take the form of another, this magical tool took the form of two rings: a green ring and a red ring. The person wearing the green ring would become identical in facial features and hair color to the person wearing the red ring, this magic tool does not change, height, complexion, voice and eye colors. This magic tool was meant to be used by the Asura Realm's body double, but commonly Ariel used them to take the form of Fitts to more freely explore Asura or Sharia. This magic tool was a secret treasure passed down in the Asura Kingdom family from generation to generation.
