Itachi

Itachi was the firstborn son of Fugaku Uchiha, leader of the Uchiha clan and Mikoto Uchiha. Itachi was considered a genius from a very early age; he awakened the Sharingan at age 8, graduated first in his class and was named captain of the ANBU units at 13. At first he appears as an apathetic and sometimes hysterical ninja, however, he feels a great affection for his younger brother, Sasuke. However, he dies at his hands due to the hatred he had for the massacre of his clan. However, with the development of the anime and manga it is learned that he exterminated his family and deserted the village on orders of the high command of Konoha, in order to avoid a coup d'état and a cruel Civil War, which could well have led to the intervention of other nations and a new Great Ninja War. Itachi was the firstborn son of Fugaku Uchiha, leader of the Uchiha clan and Mikoto Uchiha. Itachi was considered a genius from a very early age; he awakened the Sharingan at age 8, graduating at the top of his class. Because of all this, Itachi became Fugaku's favorite son and the center of attention of all Konoha. Itachi maintained a very close relationship with his younger brother Sasuke, who saw him as a role model and was somewhat envious of him. However, as Itachi became more involved in the ANBU and the Uchiha Clan became increasingly estranged from the Council of Elders of the Hidden Leaf Village, their relations became colder, all this possibly as a result of Kurama's attack on the village and the death of the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, since supposedly a member of the Uchiha Clan was behind the attack. Itachi leaves the village as a traitor and decides to join the Akatsuki, the most dangerous criminal organization, although with the intention of infiltrating it and protecting the Hidden Leaf Village. At first he teamed up with Orochimaru, who tried to possess his body but couldn't.

The Uchiha clan then planned a coup d'état to take control of the village and wanted Itachi to act as a spy, thanks to his privileged position as captain of the ANBU. However, Itachi decided to remain loyal to the Hidden Leaf Village and acted as a double-spy, informing the Third Hokage about his clan's movements. At one point, Danzō Shimura decided to give Itachi a choice: eliminate his clan and protect the village from civil strife, or join his clan and be eliminated along with them. Itachi also encountered Obito Uchiha (posing as Madara Uchiha), with whom he made a deal to eliminate the Uchiha clan as long as Obito did not attack the village again. That same night, Itachi killed his entire clan, including his parents. Sasuke watched as Itachi retorted that he had only done this to prove his power and that if he wanted revenge, he would have to become much stronger and obtain the Mangekyō Sharingan, just like Itachi did. Orochimaru wanted to possess Itachi's Sharingan but was unable to as he put it in a genjutsu and cut off his left arm. After Orochimaru defected, Itachi began teaming up with Kisame Hoshigaki, with whom he came to maintain a relationship of trust and respect. Itachi appears in the first part of the series after the death of the Third Hokage, protector of Konoha, infiltrating the village with Kisame Hoshigaki. [15] After attracting the attention of Konoha's forces, Itachi reveals that, as part of Akatsuki, he must capture the Nine-Tailed Biju, Kurama, which is sealed in Naruto. [16] During a fight with Konoha ninja, he discovers that Naruto has left the village and is now under Jiraiya's protection. Itachi creates a distraction to draw Naruto away from Jiraiya and capture him. [17] Sasuke, after hearing that Itachi has returned, intervenes in the fight, determined to kill him to avenge the massacre of the entire clan.

appearance

Despite his status as an infamous shinobi, his appearance was not intimidating, aside from the intensity of his eyes. While living in Konoha, he regularly had a gentle gaze, especially towards his younger brother, Sasuke. After joining Akatsuki, his gaze became cold and calm. He, like all members of his clan, had dark, grey eyes, black hair that hung close to his cheeks to frame his face, and a long ponytail at the back of his hair, later obscured by his Akatsuki cloak after joining the organization. Being brothers, Itachi and Sasuke had a similar appearance, but with subtle differences: Itachi's hair color appears slightly darker and with a smoother flow, his skin was also slightly darker, Itachi's biggest feature being large dark circles under his eyes. Like Sasuke, he was considered very attractive among women. When living in Konoha, his casual clothing was a black flannel with the Uchiha Clan symbol on the back and black pants with a weapon pouch attached. On duty, he would wear the traditional ANBU uniform. As a member of Akatsuki, he wore the traditional Akatsuki cloak and usually kept the center buttoned. On other occasions, he would unbutton the top half of his cloak and insert his left hand into it. After his cloak was destroyed by Sasuke's Kirin during their fight in Part II, it was revealed that he wore clothing similar to the rest of the Akatsuki underneath it, consisting of a blue shirt (when most other Akatsuki members wore a sleeveless shirt) and blue pants with mesh under the shirt, and a white sash around the waist on the outside of the shirt much like a tunic. Like almost all Akatsuki members, he wore his home village's sash with a horizontal slit across it to symbolize his broken ties with his villages.

Itachi had always been a mysterious person, and he intended to hide his true self. While in his past he was shown to be a caring, compassionate brother and a great person, at a certain point in the story, he had to commit some crimes, even killing his loved ones and his clan, leaving only one survivor: his younger brother, Sasuke Uchiha. Despite all the shock of his actions, incredibly, he turned out to be that compassionate and courageous brother, becoming clear throughout the story that his stay in Akatsuki was also intended to protect his little brother, Sasuke, and his village. As a member of Akatsuki, he possessed incredible self-control over his emotions, always showing a personality devoid of them. The only emotion shown by him was surprise when his opponents proved to be more powerful or more qualified than he assumed, and even then, he did not completely lose his composure. He possessed no arrogance, and fully justified his power, even complimenting his opponents on their strength for challenging them, even respecting them. After his death, he realizes that he shouldn't have tried to go it alone and face Sasuke on his own and now encourages Naruto in noble ways and reminds him why he fights, that he is not alone, and that he never and will never forget his precious friends. In addition to being an incredibly powerful ninja, Itachi had an equally impressive intelligence, and was shown to be very wise, even Tobi acknowledged this. He was very strong and attentive to any situation that happened, as he was rarely surprised.

His favorite food is cabbage and onigiri with seaweed, which he loves, he is very fond of sweets, his favorite being dango. Dango are 3 sweet balls of pink, green and light blue on a small stick, it was very tasty for him, he likes to read and to be respected, he likes that all his missions as part of Akatsuki satisfy him that everything goes well.

He doesn't like steak at all, he finds it very greasy and tough, he doesn't like being disobeyed, even when he's very angry, he has a very serene and simple face, he doesn't like vitamins, and he cries like a little baby when he's injected, which is why he hates injections with all his soul.
