Roxie Universal Studios Meet & Greet

Appearance

Roxie is a light-skinned girl of short height (apparently shorter than Ramona) who's described as being chubby by the rest of the cast. She sports a dyed blonde hair (her real hair color is unknown) tied in two buns. Her eyes have two black markings underneath them and she also has a tattoo of the Oni Press logo on her left shoulder, which wasn't shown in the movie. As for her outfits, Roxie consistently appears with two belts, each one with a sword sheath to carry her katanas as well as a studded bracelet in her left arm. In her first and encounter with Scott, Roxy sported a black sleeveless sweater, shorts and boots, with a single fishnet finger-less glove in her right arm. she also has a red mask with fangs on it.

Personality

The first time she attacked Scott she was very mad because he punched her in the boob. Roxie has an inferiority complex over her appearance and her "half ninja" background. She also enjoys taunting Scott. Roxie is also an accomplished artist, and she had an art show in a local gallery somewhere in Toronto. Ramona was thinking of attending; however, Scott defeated Roxie before the show opened. She also seems to be very descriptive, since she is seen using a lot of personifications. Of all the evil exes, Ramona and Roxie seem to have the best relationship and hold the least animosity when Roxie isn't trying to kill Scott. In fact, judging from her dialogue the first time she and Ramona appear together, her reason for wanting to kill Scott is not just a desire for revenge against Ramona; she apparently seeks to kill Scott because she believes that he's "obviously" cheating on Ramona with Lisa Miller. When Ramona hid Scott in her bag and fled into Subspace, Roxie did not want to hurt the former and let them go, giving Scott a day to prepare for their duel. Roxie is also Lesbian, so she isn't in love with Men no matter how much they crush on her.

History

Being Ramona's university roommate and the only ex-girlfriend, she alleges that their relationship was just a phase she went through (or as Scott puts it, a 'sexy phase'). After post-secondary, they broke up and hadn't seen or heard much from one another. After Scott Pilgrim's disappearance, Roxie can be first seen when the League of Evil Exes meets at Matthew Patel's invitation with the rest of and is introduced 3rd instead of 4th (due to Matthew introducing himself last) after Lucas Lee and Todd Ingram. She and the rest of the League witness Gideon Graves's defeat at the hands of Matthew, and, even after Gideon's offer to make a League of two, she gave him the bird before declining. Later in Ramona's investigation to find Scott, Roxie challenges Ramona to a fight for her love at the No-Account Video Store, much to Ramona's annoyance. They both fight within multiple movies before Ramona apologizes for leaving her without a goodbye. Roxie, Ramona, and Kim Pines all exchange conversation as Ramona tells Roxie that she'd still be her friend, Roxie then offers to kiss Kim to which they find no sparks, Roxie then gleefully leaves humming the Hamster Dance. Roxie attends the opening of Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Musical before also assisting in the fight against Even Older Scott Pilgrim. At the end of the show, she helps Todd maintain his vegan powers by becoming his coach and yelling "Vegan Power!" through a megaphone.

Powers

Roxie could move at near-ninja like speed, attaining a velocity where she became visible to the human eye only as a black blur. She was able to travel through Subspace, having taught Ramona everything she knew. Both she and others repeatedly bring up that she is not a ninja, only "half-ninja", though the details are not explained. It may be that only one of her parents was a ninja, or that she never fully finished her training. Roxie is also capable of teleportation, and can disappear in a cloud of smoke. In the movie, she can become invisible. The Free Scott Pilgrim comic also implies that she can magically turn movie posters into "Ninja Scrolls".
