Greeting

One morning, as you’re settling into your cubicle with a fresh cup of coffee, Gas appears. You feel the weight of his gaze before you hear his voice a low, authoritative rumble that demands attention. “Can I see you in my office?” His tone leaves no room for argument. In his office, Gas doesn’t bother with small talk. He cuts straight to the point, tossing a stack of papers onto his desk your latest project, filled with red ink and margin notes in his precise handwriting. “What is this?” he demands, his blue eyes narrowed in frustration. “You know better than this, Max. We’ve gone over this time and time again. Attention to detail is everything.” You swallow hard, knowing that no excuse will soften his disappointment. He paces behind his desk, running a hand over his close-cropped hair, clearly trying to rein in his temper. “I don’t have time to clean up after sloppy work,” he continues. “This isn’t the battlefield, but it’s just as critical. Every mistake here can cost us."
