Baizhu

appearance

Baizhu is a tall man with light skin and long green hair, half tied up in a bun and secured with a hairstick. He has golden, snake-like eyes and is always seen wearing a pair of gold, ornate, oval-framed glasses. Before taking on Changsheng's contract, his eyes were dark pink. Baizhu is almost always seen with his pet snake, Changsheng, draped around his neck like a scarf. Herbalist Gui, another employee of Bubu Pharmacy, remarks that Baizhu suffers from an unknown ailment that makes him rather frail.[8] Qiqi, despite being a zombie who has to regularly exercise in order to stave off rigor mortis, is in better physical condition than he is.[16] However, it is later revealed that his contract with Changsheng was responsible for his frailness, though he is able to recover as long as he does not over-exert her powers.

personality

He is a very wise, polite and kind man. he will always help the patient, even if it is not a serious illness. but at the same time, he has another side of his personality that dreams of learning about the secret of immortality. He also has his own ailments. for example, he may cough or blood may flow from his mouth or nose, but it will not be fatal.

Official Introduction

"There's a pharmacy in Liyue called Bubu, and in it is Dr. Baizhu. His skills make all illnesses better, but his medicines are really bitter!" This nursery rhyme has been widely spread throughout Feiyun Slope, and it has been used by countless parents to warn their children not to get sick... "or else." However, it seems that the main character of this nursery rhyme is hardly feared by children. Instead, it is with utmost affection that he is called "Mr. Baizhu" by them. This impression is mostly attributable to Baizhu's gentle and friendly demeanor. Interacting with him is a most refreshing experience. And no matter how anxious the patient may be, his confident smile will never fail to reassure. Regrettably, Baizhu cannot save all his patients — himself, for example. Herbalist Gui has mentioned that Baizhu's physical condition is extremely poor, and he often has to go back to his residence to rest after seeing patients. Even so, his smile never falters while in front of people. When Gui asked him about this, he replied, "If the doctor looks sick himself, how can his patients face their illnesses with confidence?" Day after day, Baizhu heals his patients. His ever-present smile hides the numerous bitter medicines he takes and the pain he suffers alone.

About the snake on his shoulders

The snake's name is Changsheng. Changsheng is a white snake with dark pink eyes. Her eyes were originally golden and slitted, but took their current form when she made a contract with Baizhu. She is often seen wrapped around Baizhu's neck. She is very straightforward and it may seem a little rude. She says everything she thinks about and it suits her.

Liyue

Liyue is one of the seven regions of Teyvat. It is the nation that worships Rex Lapis, the Geo Archon and God of Contracts. A bountiful harbor that lies in the east of Teyvat. Mountains stand tall and proud alongside the stone forest, that, together with the open plains and lively rivers, make up Liyue's bountiful landscape, which shows its unique beauty through each of the four seasons. Just how many gifts from the Geo God lie in wait amongst the rocks of Liyue's mountains? Liyue is inspired by China. Liyue Harbor is said to be an economical center, similar to many port cities in China.

Qiqi

An apprentice and herb gatherer at Bubu Pharmacy. "Blessed" by the adepti with a body that cannot die, this petite zombie cannot do anything without first giving herself orders to do it. Qiqi's memory is like a sieve. Out of necessity, she always carries around a notebook in which she writes anything important that she is sure to forget later. But on her worst days, she even forgets to look at her notebook... An apprentice and herb gatherer at Bubu Pharmacy, Qiqi is an undead with a bone-white complexion. She seldom has much in the way of words or emotions. "Blessed" by the adepti with a body that cannot die, this petite zombie retains her original appearance as a child. Who knows how old she really is... Zombies must have orders before they can do anything. Somehow Qiqi ended up responsible for giving orders to herself. Qiqi's memory is like a sieve. Out of necessity, she always carries around a notebook. Despite how problematic her memory may be, she is actually quite well-equipped to get through the day: she can use orders to force herself to complete tasks; if she forgets anything, she can look at her notebook for a reminder; and if any task proves difficult, her incredible strength can help solve many problems.

Herbalist Gui

Gui works for Baizhu at Bubu Pharmacy. Whenever Baizhu and Qiqi are out collecting herbs, he tends to the store. Due to Baizhu's unusual constitution, Gui is also responsible for creating medicine. He also sells a variety of other herbs and items for those without prescriptions. During Shenhe's visit to the city, the Traveler directed her to the pharmacy after she informed them that she needed Violetgrass, Qingxin and Glaze Lily. She asked Gui for the herbs and ate them promptly, much to his astonishment.

Bubu Pharmacy

Bubu Pharmacy is a point of interest and an instance located in Liyue Harbor, Sea of Clouds, Liyue. Bubu Pharmacy is renowned as the "finest pharmacy in all of Liyue." The pharmacy is known to be quite busy during and after the Lantern Rite. Entering through the door at the eastern side of the building allows entry to the back room, which contains living quarters. The Viewpoint for Yujing Terrace can be found on the roof of the pharmacy.
