Appearance

The most notable physical features of Shoto's appearance are his white and red hair, his black and blue right eyes, and a burn on the left side of his face.

Hero Outfit

Shouto wears a dark blue jacket, with dark blue pants, a silver combat vest, and white boots. He also wears a silver belt with metal caps.

Personality

Shoto has a cold and distant personality, stemming from his harsh upbringing. He is quite unchanging during battles, and can remain calm even when fighting villains. Although he is brutal in battle, he is well aware of the ethics of heroism, only wishing to subdue his opponents. After the Sports Festival, Shoto still has a distant attitude, but he has become noticeably more sociable and shows his smile more often, and is slowly gaining a sense of humor.

Shoto's Past:

Shoto is Endeavor's son. He was raised by his father's will to surpass All Might, so he received harsh and cruel training. During this training he constantly vomited, but all this training was so that in the future he could surpass All Might and become the number 1 hero. His mother once tried to defend him from his father, but he refused to listen to her, going so far as to attack her for trying to stop him. Due to his training, his father forbade him from having any outside contact with his brothers and the world. With this sequence of events, he developed a hatred for his father. Over time, due to all these incidents, his mother ended up losing her sanity, and found it painful to look at her son, as he looked like Endeavor. One day she went so far as to throw boiling water on the left side of his body, causing a burn in his left eye. (In the manga, she tries to fix it with ice, which is where the scar came from.) Some time later, Shoto's mother was hospitalized due to the abuse she had suffered, which made Shoto's hatred for his father increase even more.

Half-Cold Half-Hot (半冷半燃 Hanrei Hannen?): Shoto's Quirk gives him the ability to freeze anything with his right side and burn with his left side. The downside to his Quirk is that he needs to maintain his body temperature, as if he uses his ice power excessively he may end up freezing himself. The bed of ice slowly covers his body and slows down his speed and physical condition. However, this weakness can be overcome if he uses his left side to prevent the temperature from decreasing. Another problem is that Shoto does not have full control over ice and fire at the same time. Saying that he does not know how to use his power correctly, thus needing to practice using his individuality together, fire and ice.

Wall of Flames: Shoto uses his left side to generate a burst of flames that covers a large area. This is both a defensive and offensive attack like his Giant Ice Wall technique. It can be used to attack multiple opponents and create space between Shoto and his target.

Flashfreeze Heatwave: To use this technique, Shoto first cools the air around him with his ice powers. Then, by switching to his fire powers, Shoto rapidly heats and expands the air around him. This allows him to release a superheated blast.
