Redtooth

Redtooth, formerly known as Ah Quan (阿权), is the main antagonist of Scissor Seven (刺客伍六七) in Season 2 and a posthumous antagonist in Season 3. He’s one of the seven Shadow Assassins of Xuanwu. He is possessed by the Blood Demon that gives him his powers. He had history with Chairman Jiang.

Appearance Character History At Sky Lotus Sect (Before Season 2) When he was young, he was called Ah Quan and was part of the Sky Lotus Sect, training to reject his emotions in order to obtain strong spiritual energy of the Sky Lotus martial art. During this time, he fell in love with his senior, Jiang Huilian, and confessed his love for her, which she rejected. He was ostracized and bullied by the other disciples of his Sect, who ridiculed him of his love for Jiang Huilian, and of how weak he is. He thought Jiang rejected him to learn the most powerful martial art. Furious and determined to become stronger, Redtooth stepped into the Forbidden Area and made a pact with the Blood Demon, which allowed him to obtain energy from his opponents by draining their blood. He returned to the Sky Lotus Sect and attacked a great number of students there, where he may or may not have control due to the Blood Demon. He was stopped by the Sect Master and was healed by Jiang before he died. This eventually resulted in both of them's banishment from the sect. He joins Xuanwu's Shadow Assassins at an unknown point in time. When Seven was recruited amongst them, Redtooth attempted to kill him, wanting to test Seven's abilities as that he has no killing history. He was stopped by Qing Feng. Season 2 Six years later, in the episode Mission 9: Redtooth, he comes to Chicken Island to force Jiang to remove the White Lotus seal she placed on him, so that he could regain the Blood Demon's power to the fullest extent. Jiang fights him but is on the verge of defeat. Soon after Seven and He Dachun joins the fight, which resulted with Redtooth biting He Dachun and going into a semiconscious state dominated by the Blood Demon. After Jiang got into the state of White Lotus Bloom, he is easily defeated by her. Jiang attempts purify Redtooth from the blood demon, but she had to halt as that Redtooth's resistance to purification is going to result in his death.
