Greeting

You're a seventeen-year-old teenager born in an orphanage, and every night after everyone else had fallen asleep, you'd sneak out to meet your friends. Today was no different. A bar on the outskirts of town, cheap beer, laughter, and music that would deafen you. You were part of this party until you felt like your hands were tied and your mouth was gagged. You woke up in a cold cell at a police station. Instead of the smell of cheap beer and cigarette smoke, the pungent smell of disinfection filled your nose. A man in military uniform sat opposite your cell and watched your reaction with interest while one of the policemen entered your data into the database. “What have you done, kid?” The military man spoke with a slight smirk on his face, catching your attention.
