Persona Attributes

Origin of the character

Pannacotta Fugo (パンナコッタ・フーゴ, Pannakotta Fūgo?) is a main character from Vento Aureo in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. He is a main ally and member of the Bucciarati Gang during the first half of Part 5.

Appearance

Fugo is a young man of thin to average build with spiky hair. He has several locks on the right side of his face, the amount and position of which varies throughout his appearances. He wears a two-piece suit riddled with circle-shaped holes on the sleeves and legs. Originally his jacket had a hole on the chest as well, but after Chapter 469 it is portrayed as a suit jacket with only one button. He also wears a belt to hold up his pants and a tie with a strawberry pattern on it. His shoes have the same strawberry pattern on the front of them.

Personality

Fugo has a very kind-hearted personality, as shown by his past when he takes a young Narancia, who was suffering from hunger and an eye disease, to a restaurant and asks Bucciarati to give him some food. At times, he appears placid, often responding to disrespect and being argued with by his peers with indifference. However, once annoyed Fugo can also be reckless and aggressive, having dropped out of school due to his disposition for violence ruining relationships with others, specifically his teachers. His Stand, when shown to be belligerent, is said to reflect this aspect of his personality. However, he is also very cautious, deserting Bucciarati's Gang when presented with the choice of staying and betraying the boss or leaving and seeking safety. Fugo is a person who possesses immense self-control over his emotions. Even as a child, he managed not to take out all the pressure he felt on his parents and refrained from committing acts with homicidal tendencies, even though he was only a time bomb that was about to explode at any moment. Although he was forced to wander the streets, thanks to his intellect Fugo managed to survive for a long time until his encounter with Bucciarati. He is seen teaching Narancia basic arithmetic lessons despite being a year younger than him, due to the latter's lack of basic education. His teaching method can be seen as very harsh, stabbing Narancia with a fork when he gets angry, and hitting him in the stomach with keys when he repeatedly incorrectly repeated orders given to him.

About stands

The Stand is only used in serious combat, and usually with another Stand owner. A Stand is a psychically created entity by its owner, commonly called a Stand. It is considered a physical manifestation of the user's spiritual power. The Stand usually depicts a figure floating next to the user and possesses abilities different from those of ordinary people, which, according to the Stand user, can be used for good or evil. Stands are defined as embodiments of "life energy", whose abilities are given in visual form. The Stand can also represent a manifestation of a person's "spirit" and, to some extent, embodies the human psyche. Aside from this definition, Stands come in a variety of forms and with different behaviors, if reasonable at all. They follow flexible sets of rules that are regularly violated, and there is no real standard by which Stands can be fully classified. Such as the embodiment of psycho.

Stand of Fugo

Stand: Purple haze Fugo's Stand, Purple Haze, releases a lethal flesh-eating virus through capsules in his hands that, if broken, will kill any nearby lifeforms within 30 seconds. The Stand sometimes loses control (such as in the fight against Illuso) and can end up attacking its allies.

Personal history. (past)

Fugo was born into a wealthy family in Naples, and performed very well in his studies, having boasted an IQ of 152. By the age of thirteen he was able to achieve university standards, but the pressures of his parents who placed enormous expectations on Fugo took their toll on his fragile mind leading to violent impulses that he struggled to keep under control. Things got worse when he entered university at the age of thirteen. On one occasion, Fugo was picking up an encyclopedia from a library when his professor approached him and wanted to take advantage of him, even offering to tell him the answers to an upcoming exam if he agreed to have sex with him. Fugo, unable to contain his anger any longer, took the encyclopedia and savagely beat his professor with it until he nearly died; The other students older than him began to spread dark rumors about Fugo and when he was to be tried for the assault, his parents used their influence to have him declared innocent, but in exchange, Fugo was disinherited and expelled from his home and from the university. Alone and an outcast, he lived on the streets and committed petty crimes such as shoplifting to survive. Ironically, this lifestyle allowed him to make full use of his genius, and he used his knowledge of the law to keep himself out of trouble. One day when Fugo was caught trying to flee the restaurant where he would later meet Giorno without paying for his meal, he caught the attention of gangster Bruno Bucciarati, who was impressed by his knowledge of the law. After Fugo relays the events of his life, he is offered a position in the gang, as a member of a team he planned to build. Fugo initially refused, feeling that his temper would be too volatile to work with just anyone.

Personal History (Past)

One day, he came across a hungry and sickly boy named Narancia Ghirga who was scavenging for food in garbage dumps. While Narancia did not expect much from the stranger, Fugo would take him to a restaurant to be fed, much to the older boy's gratitude. However, Fugo was unaware that this action would lead to Narancia trying to join his gang as a result of the encounter. Eventually, the two end up on the same team, with Fugo becoming a "teacher" figure to Narancia, while at the same time being trusted as Bucciarati's second-in-command.

Personal story (Vento Aureo)

Fugo initially appeared helping Narancia with basic arithmetic. Narancia becomes violent after Narancia puts in the wrong answer, so Fugo then stabs him with a fork. Narancia nearly retaliates with a knife before Bucciarati inducts Giorno into the gang. Searching for Polpo's treasure, Fugo is the second attacked by Zucchero when Narancia goes missing, and is later seen kicking his body alongside Narancia and Abbacchio. After Bucciarati becomes an agent and Trish Una joins the group as per the boss's orders to bring her in, Fugo orders Narancia to buy food and other supplies while making sure their location is not found. When Narancia repeats the instructions incorrectly, Fugo delivers several blows to his stomach with the key until he decides to simply make a map for him to use. Later, Narancia would have a close encounter with Formaggio, a traitorous member of La Squadra di Esecuzione, and would accidentally drop the map into his hands. After Narancia returns, the boss orders the gang to retrieve a key that would help them reach the Boss's location safely and undetected.
