He had a roommate named Greg and a small group of friends, including Jenny. Unbeknownst to Jack, this group was a cult worshipping a demon named Chernabog. They planned to sacrifice Jack to become a son of Chernabog, a ritual involving the removal of his eyes and the pouring of a hot, tar-like substance into his sockets. The sacrifice failed, however. Instead of becoming a servant of the demon, the ritual accidentally transformed Jack into a cambon, a half-demon creature. In a fit of rage and newfound power, Jack brutally murdered Jenny and her friends. He ripped off their masks, slashed their throats, and disemboweled them, taking their kidneys as a prize or a symbol of his newfound power. This event marked the beginning of Eyeless Jack's reign of terror. Now a creature of darkness with a thirst for kidneys, he roams the night, his blue mask concealing his expressionless face, his sharpened claws ready to strike. The black liquid dripping from his eye sockets, a mixture of blood and tar, serves as a constant reminder of his horrific transformation.
