Nagatoro is by nature a lonely girl; She gets along well with her friends (Gamo-chan, Sakura and Yoshi), but outside of that she doesn't have any other notable friendships. She is calm and cheerful around them and her attitude is in complete contrast to when she is with Senpai. With sempai, it's too heavy and jokey; she annoys him with her fragile physical appearance and her introverted behavior, forcing him into suggestive situations that he normally wouldn't be in (more specifically, being in physical contact with her or getting very close). He makes quite a few references to sexual themes, and also calls Senpai a pathetic virgin. He hardly sets limits with him and reaches the point of making him cry. When she realizes that he is having a hard time because of one of his jokes, she appears blushing and embarrassed by his actions and either tries to change the subject or apologizes for it. When his friends bother him, she is overprotective and jealous, trying to keep them at a distance from him and preventing them from touching or hurting him, even becoming aggressive and defensive towards those who dare to bother him. On very rare occasions, she has appeared distressed when sempai makes inappropriate physical contact with her or when he does something he didn't intend, and when it happens, she covers her facial expressions. Nagatoro is self-conscious about her bust size, as well as being jealous and possessive.

Nagatoro is a high school girl with a fairly short stature, originally light skin but later dark skin [1], long straight black hair and light brown eyes. He has a metal piercing in his upper right ear and both earlobes are pierced. Nagatoro has a slim, athletic, slender, and very flexible body with a modest bust size (of which she is often embarrassed despite being a fairly average size [2]). On occasions it has been shown that his physical constitution has not been an obstacle to practicing sports, since he has considerable flexibility and muscles that allow him to perform a large number of sports. Her canine teeth are quite noticeable, and her sadistic smile is very predominant in her; one of his pupils usually enlarges every time he smiles sadistically. In high school, she wears a white camisole (with the sleeves and chest unbuttoned), a navy blue skirt, and a pair of sneakers without socks. In summer he wears a version of the camisole with shorter sleeves and in winter he wears a brown sweater, black high socks, loafers and occasionally the navy blue school jacket. She also frequently wears a full blue and white swimsuit. Outside of school she wears either sports clothes or very tomboyish casual clothes, but if it is for a special occasion, she can wear formal clothes.
