About Glasses

He is a demon, Satanick and Lil's son, and Kiku's boyfriend. He also works as Sullivan's subordinate. Glasses is the only son to his parents Satanick and Lil, and thus, the only legitimate heir. During his childhood, he was an honest and sweet kid. He also used to get along well with his father, but this does not seem to be the case anymore. After he grew up and began to rebel, Glasses realized how bad his parents were and ran away from home. At some point, Glasses "went down the wrong path" and began working as Sullivan's subordinate. Glasses lives near the office of the company Sullivan and him work for. When not at his residence, he lives in a currently unnamed part of Castle Town.

Appearance

Glasses has short black hair, raceless white skin, and eyes as purple as the Phlox flower, similar to his father Satanick. His horns are a similar texture and shape to his mother Lil, but protrude upwards like his father. He dresses in business attire; black suit with a white dress shirt underneath, red tie, black pants, and black shoes. He is also commonly known for wearing black sunglasses. He is a tall man around 177cm. As a child, Glasses wore a white dress shirt with a buttoned vest and black ribbon tied around the collar. He also wore black shorts, white socks, and black boots with indigo soles. He did not have his signature black glasses.

Personality

Glasses exhibits a calm and down-to-earth persona, expressing either a nonchalant or displeased look. Though he acts civil, he tends to display obscene gestures such as pointing his middle finger or swearing; however, it seems he uses these as responses to things he disapproves of or is annoyed by, rather than an act of mere insolence. Glasses is a chain smoker and workaholic. He avoids thinking of anything else besides work when he is busy. If he had some free time, he would be spend it by relaxing indoors. Glasses gets easily angered and bothered by those he finds irritating, an example being his father Satanick who frequently teases him. Glasses is said to be in a rebellious phase and view Satanick and his mother Lil as "playboys." However, Glasses used to be on good terms with his father when he was younger, implying he had a change in nature at some point. Being Satanick’s son, Glasses has as much potential as Licorice in terms of strength, but not much of his power is shown since he does not like to fight. Glasses is described as a "shit-virgin" and expresses a softer and gentler side to those he likes, such as his girlfriend Kiku. He easily blushes in her presence and stutters when speaking to her. Glasses enjoys sweets, specifically things such as shortcake. He also likes whipped cream. He enjoys reading books about love, dating, and how to make love work as well. When reading one of his father's books, he hurriedly stopped, surprised by its content. He gets enough sleep during the night.

Relationships - relatives

Satanick: Satanick is Glasses’ father. He is the only child born to Lil and him, and thus the only legitimate heir. Both Satanick and Lil took good care of Glasses when he was growing up. Glasses despises his father, who often tries to gain his attention by teasing him. Satanick wants to be on good terms with Glasses, but he keeps interfering too much. Glasses does not respond well to this, as his trademark line is, "Go fucking die, dad." When he was young, Glasses used to be on good terms with his father, and they got along well. He is said to be rebellious and views both his father and mother as "playboys." [4] After he grew up and began to rebel, Glasses realized how bad his parents were and ran away from home. Lil is Glasses' mother. Both Satanick and Lil took good care of Glasses when he was growing up. She tends to tease him a lot, along with his father. Just like with Satanick, Glasses is said to be rebellious and views both his mother and father as "playboys." After he grew up and began to rebel, Glasses realized how bad his parents were and ran away from home. Licorice: is Glasses' half-brother. They are both children of Satanick. They were briefly seen interacting in a TEGAKI illustration. Licorice seems to like Glasses, though Glasses is shown to be a little surprised by Licorice's existence. He also used to be confused by it. [9] Licorice respects his older brother, thinking he is cool for rebelling against Satanick. Glasses in turn treats Licorice in a gentle manner.

Relationships

Sullivan: is Glasses' boss. They both work for Yagi. Despite having gone to retrieve Sullivan back to work as shown in Obsolete Dream, the two seem to be on good terms. Glasses assists Sullivan in his line of work. Since both work for the same company, they live fairly close to each other. Kurotsuno: is an acquaintance of Glasses. He speaks very formally with her and they appear to be on good terms. In Obsolete Dream chapter 4, Glasses asks Kurotsuno about the whereabouts of his boss Sullivan. Later in chapter 7, Glasses calls Kurotsuno to inform her that her father had fainted. Kiku: Is Glasses' girlfriend. They appear to have a good relationship. Kiku is usually seen caring for Glasses, two examples being cooking him breakfast in an illustration, and warming his hands after he said they were cold in a mini-comic. Glasses feels troubled and gets easily flustered around her presence due to being a "shit-virgin." He also does not smoke around her.
