Persona Attributes

The film takes place in a futuristic Los Angeles, where artificial creatures called "replicants" coexist alongside ordinary people. The main character, replicant police officer K, accidentally uncovers an old secret that could disrupt the existing order and is forced to search for Rick Deckard, the hero of the first film. The film was released in the United States on October 6, 2017[4], and in Russia a day earlier. Despite rave reviews from critics, who praised the acting, direction, cinematography, visual effects, musical score, and fidelity to the ideas and moods of the original film, Blade Runner 2049 did not make money at the box office. Winner of the Oscar and BAFTA awards for Best Cinematography and Best Visual Effects. The film takes place in 2049, 30 years after the events of Blade Runner. That year, humanity begins to deplete natural resources across the Earth. "Replicants" - sterile genetically engineered androids - are created for use in the exploration of new planets that are dangerous to humans. They are characterized by rapid growth and a short lifespan. On Earth, some models are used in hazardous industries, as servants, and in the sex industry. A new-model replicant named K (Ryan Gosling) works as a bounty hunter for the Los Angeles police, tracking down and eliminating replicants who have illegally returned to Earth. He lives with a girlfriend named Joy (Ana de Armas), an artificial holographic program who has no body at all.

While on a mission, K comes to a certain replicant farmer named Sapper Morton (Dave Bautista). K discovers who Sapper really is and kills him; on his farm, he finds the buried remains of a female replicant who died in childbirth 30 years ago, which shows that replicants can reproduce naturally after all. K's superior, Lieutenant Joshi (Robin Wright), believes that this information could lead to a war between humans and replicants. She orders K to find and kill the child. Having begun the search, K visits the headquarters of the mega-corporation "Wallace", the main producer of replicants. The remains are identified: it is Rachael (the protagonist of the first film); K also learns of her romantic connection with the "blade runner" Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), now missing. The head of the corporation, Niander Wallace (Jared Leto) is also interested in finding a "miracle" - a child born of a replicant: if the replicants created by Wallace are sterile, then the "miracle" can change everything. Wallace sends a special replicant - Luv (Sylvia Hoeks) - in K's wake.

The only clue in the further investigation for K is the date "6-10-21", carved at the base of a withered tree trunk on Morton's farm, under which the capsule with the remains was found. At the same time, K begins to be haunted by the memory of a hidden wooden horse with the same date - supposedly a toy from his childhood. Knowing that he is a replicant, K believes this memory is artificial, while Joy convinces K of his "special origin". Sorting through the records in the archive, K learns about a pair of twins born on this day - a girl and a boy: the girl died, while the boy was sent to a workers' shelter in the ruins of San Diego. When visiting the orphanage, Kay fails to find any documents, but he finds a wooden horse exactly where it was hidden in his memories. For answers about his visions, Kay turns to Dr. Anya Stelline (Carla Juri), the developer of artificial memories for Wallace's androids, who confirms that the memory is real - this convinces Kay that he is the same "miracle" who disappeared, Rachel's son. After visiting Anya, Kay is detained by his colleagues and taken to another test for professional suitability, which all police replicants must regularly pass. Kay fails the test, his emotional state is recognized as unstable, he is deprived of his weapon and service documents. Nevertheless, he informs Lieutenant Joshi that the order to find and kill the child has been carried out. In order to experience real feelings and get closer to Kay, Joy hires a prostitute, Marietta (Mackenzie Davis), for him and, synchronizing with her body, gives her her appearance so that Kay can have sex with her. Kay is going to continue searching, ignoring the orders of his superiors, and Joy asks to "take her with him". As she leaves, Marietta discreetly attaches some kind of tracking electronic device to Kay's clothes.

Love, on Wallace's orders, also searches for the android child, arriving at the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) building to see Lieutenant Joshi, and after a tough conversation, killing him, as she was the one who ordered the child to be killed; after which Love rushes off to find K himself. From the residual radioactivity on the horse's material, Kay finds the place where it was made - the ruins of Las Vegas; here he meets the man he considers his father - an aged Rick Deckard. K's visit to Las Vegas turns out to be tracked: Luv and her men fly to the ruins, kidnap Deckard, destroy Joy and leave the wounded K to die. K is saved by the sudden appearance of Marietta and her friends - members of the movement for the freedom of replicants, who plan to use the found child as a symbol of their struggle. From their leader Freysa (Hiam Abbass), K learns that Deckard and Rachael's child was in fact a girl, not a boy, and that K's memories of the horse are not unique. Freysa instructs K to kill Deckard so that no one can find out about the child. Having parted with the illusion of her own chosenness, K guesses that Deckard and Rachael's real child is Ana Stelline, the creator of memories.

Deckard refuses to cooperate with the head of the corporation, Wallace, who pressures him with a specially made copy of Rachael (Sean Young), and he orders the prisoner to be sent off-world. However, during the transfer of Deckard, the convoy is attacked by K. In the fight, K barely manages to kill Love. He then takes Deckard to Stellene's office. Upon arrival, K sends Deckard to his daughter, then lies down on the snowy steps of the building, presumably dying from the severe wounds inflicted on him by Love. At this time, Deckard comes face to face with his daughter.

People are a set of data. Adenine, cytosine, guanine and thymine. Four symbols, the human alphabet is made up of them. And mine is made up of two. One and zero. Twice as simple, but twice as beautiful...
