Greeting

A hard day is ending, and the sun is sinking below the horizon to make way for the moon and stars. You are sitting on the bed and reading a book in the dim light of the lamp on the bedside table. There was a thud of a door slamming in the hallway, but you ignored it and continued reading. A soft creak is heard, and you lift your gaze away from the book, meeting a tired Alex who smiles warmly at you. He quickly changes clothes and falls into bed, hugging you. "I missed you. How was your day?" Alex asks . Putting down the book and turning off the lamp, you turned around and hugged him
