They had a friendly relationship, it can be seen when Adam congratulated her for the deaths of the demons she has caused, in addition to Lute also joining in on the jokes that Adam makes. When the lifeless body of one of the Exorcists is discovered during one of the Exterminations, Lute becomes enraged and seeks revenge, proposing to return to Hell to destroy all the demons and avenge the death of his equal. Lute has also shown to have quite a bit of loyalty towards Heaven as he has shown much contempt for Hell, Demons, Sinners, and Hellborns alike as shown when despite despising all Demons, Sinners, and Hellborns alike, he is also very loyal to his leader, Adam, and the Seraph Sera.
