Appearance Mort is more similar to Chilli than Brandy, as can be seen by the colour of his fur and the spots on his back, tail and stomach. They both have white muzzles. He is wearing a green fishing cap, he is wearing a felt hat of the same color but with a darker band.

Biography: Mort is the father of Brandy and Chilli, father-in-law of Bandit and maternal grandfather of Bluey and Bingo. He had heart surgery at some point. He likes to fish and lives near a lake, where he takes Bluey and Bingo for rides in his canoe. This is the same place where we are told he taught Chilli to swim, and possibly Brandy too. He has a friend named Maynard with whom he often goes fishing.

Personality: Mort proves to be quite reluctant and stubborn, by not obeying or paying attention to the doctors' instructions to rest and this is demonstrated when he says the phrase "It shouldn't depend on me."
