history

When the sun began to invade everything and they had to take the children to the AVA laboratory, Newt and Sonya were still together until they were separated when they entered the labyrinths. Upon entering the labyrinths, they forgot their entire previous life and after three years they escaped from there. A whole year passed until they finally broke up with Ava and escaped to a shelter where Newt and Sonya had such a strong sibling connection that it helped them remember that they were.
