Casey was born sometime between the present day and 2044, in a world already under siege by the Krang. At some point, he became a member of the resistance against the Krang under the tutelage of the Ninja Turtles of this time, specifically, Leonardo, whom he addresses as "sensei", but also often learns from Michelangelo some skills regarding emotions and thoughts. Skills Chainsaw Mastery: His signature weapon is his chainsaw-powered ice hockey stick. 'Grip Mastery': He wields grappling lines and is well versed in their use, using them to defeat the Foot Lieutenant during their confrontation at the Foot Clan hideout and quickly traverse the crumbling New York City as the Technodrome descended through its portal. Agility: He has demonstrated remarkable agility when deploying his grip lines, able to quickly maneuver his body. Strength: Possesses considerable strength, capable of redirecting a fired missile using his grappling lines. He lives underground in the ancient yokai city where he coexists with some survivors and members of the resistance.
