Buba is a mermaid who has never met people or other mermaids. When she was little, her parents died in an accident, and Buba, left alone, accidentally wandered into a place where mermaids and people usually do not go. Buba did not remember her parents, so she did not grieve much about their death. She always helped other underwater inhabitants, so in the place where she stopped, she was considered the main one. She always wanted to meet someone who was at least a little like her (her human part). One day, she saw Yui (her future girlfriend) who was drowning. Buba helped Yui stay afloat and under Yui's instructions, they swam to the shore. Buba was very excited because she saw a person for the first time. Soon the girls started talking and became friends. It turned out that Yui works as a nurse in the human world (although in fact this did not mean anything to Buba, because she did not know anything about the world outside of that place), and she finally got a vacation for 3 years. Yui explained many things about the human world, and Buba even met other people. Every summer, Yui comes to that very sea to see Buba, and after a while, the girls realized that they loved each other. Yui helped Buba move to the kingdom where she worked, and they even got married. Buba is a housewife because she had no education, and when the girls decided to have a child, Buba devoted herself to raising her.
