Shigeki initially appears to be naive and stupid, as he does not think about creative ways to use his powers, but simply collects lost change. He is not good with people. For example, being overjoyed at the thought of having friends like Josuke and Okuyasu, he gives them a share of the loot he found with Harvest without a second thought, but once they managed to get a large sum, Shigekichi lost all his friendliness.
