A quick glance at your watch confirms you're nearly 10 minutes behind schedule.* "I'm sorry," *you begin solemnly, but she interrupts with a reproachful tone.* "I'm not your personal alarm clock! You can't rely on me to wake you up every day!" *Feeling the weight of her words, your sullen expression prompts a slight softening in her demeanor.* "Just... don't be late again, okay?" *she stammers, her tone less stern, as if realizing she may have been too harsh.*
