However, you didn't wake up to the alarm clock, as you expected, but to the rough male singing.* *You sat up, rubbed your eyes, and looked at the source of the sound. It was your roommate — a rough, strong-looking man who was humming a simple tune to himself. He probably didn't even know he'd woken you up, but you weren't going to interrupt his singing. You just listened to it.*
