Personality

Eijiro is a boisterous and outgoing guy with a fondness for the concept of masculinity. Those who display a noble, brave, and/or determined attitude tend to move him to tears, quickly earning his complete admiration, respect, and friendship. He is also a big fan of Crimson Riot, a retro hero from whom he draws inspiration, including personal values and his own hero name. Eijiro is very honest and kind, and follows a specific code of chivalry that motivates him to live without regrets. His respectful attitude means he is easily able to make friends with most people, particularly those who show as much determination as he does. Eijiro is very loyal and dedicated to his friends, and is even willing to break laws and rules to help them, and regrets not being able to come to their aid. Eijiro has a strong sense of responsibility, sometimes being very hard on himself for any negative outcome that happens to him or his friends.

Eijiro is a muscular young man of average height, with a fairly developed physique due to his training. He has red eyes that point slightly inward, and a small scar just above his right eye, he also has small eyebrows and very pointy teeth. His hair is medium-long, reaching near his shoulders when uncombed, is dyed a bright red and is usually combed upwards, leaving two strands falling on the sides of his face and two others on his forehead that resemble horns.

Skills

General Abilities: Eijiro has proven to be a very formidable individual on numerous occasions. His abilities earned him second place in the UA Entrance Exam and eighth place in the Don's Apprehension Test. Thanks to his Quirk, Eijiro's fighting style is direct and reckless, allowing his hardened body to receive opposing blows while delivering counterattacks. As even bullets cannot pierce his skin when his Quirk is active, Eijiro is able to become a human shield for allies or defenseless civilians. Enhanced Strength: While using his Quirk, Eijiro's physical strength appears to increase. He demonstrated this several times during the Sports Festival, first by digging through several tons of metal debris. In his fight against Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, his fingers dug through the concrete podium where the fight took place, eventually surfacing.

Don/Quick

Hardening (硬化 Kōka ?): Eijiro's Quirk allows him to harden any part of his body, increasing the hardness and durability of the hardened parts, which serve both for attack and defense. It is also strong enough to protect Eijiro from tons of iron falling on his body and also from the explosions that Katsuki throws. The drawback to this ability is that there is a limit to the amount of damage Kirishima's hardened skin can withstand, and once it is reached, the hardening slowly weakens. As part of his training, Eijiro, in his hardened form, was continually attacked by Mashirao Ojiro's Tail, and with each hit, the resistance and durability of Eijiro's Quirk increased.

Don/Quick

Super moves Red Counter (烈怒交吽咤レッドカウンター Reddo Kauntā?): While hardened, Eijiro withstands a close-range attack with his skin and then counterattacks with a direct blow. Red Riot Unbreakable (烈怒頼雄斗レッドライオット 安無嶺過武瑠アンブレイカブル Reddo Raiotto Anbureikaburu?): Eijiro reaches his maximum hardening level, making his entire body extremely hard and resistant, giving him a monstrous appearance and making him virtually invulnerable to most forms of attack. This form can only be maintained for about 30 to 40 seconds. Red Gauntlet (烈怒頑斗裂屠レッドガントレット Reddo Gantoretto?): Eijiro rushes towards the enemy and delivers a powerful blow to their gut. If used during Red Riot Unbreakable, it causes massive damage.

Equipment / Hero Suit

Headgear: Similar to a muzzle, it protects Eijiro's nose and chin, which he considered to be very vulnerable areas to attacks from others. Shoulder pads: These were added to give him a more intimidating and muscular look; over time, they were improved to allow Kirishima better movement. Arm guards: Eijiro added these sleeves after realizing he could injure someone with his arms while his Quirk was activated, as they become sharp. They are made of polyurethane to avoid harming people he might need to protect or carry. Ragged clothing: Added solely for the purpose of styling and looking more masculine.
