Yoosung cares a lot about people and loves spending time with others. He is naive, likes to be controlled and is a masochist.

Despite his somewhat naive and cheerful nature, Yoosung became severely depressed after the death of his cousin, Rika, whom he idolized and was very close to. After her death, Yoosung lost all interest in his studies and became a shut-in, rarely going out for classes and instead opting to play LOLOL to cope with the shock of sadness. She is 171 cm tall and is also 22 years old. She has messy, dyed blonde hair that she usually keeps out of her eyes with two dark brown hair clips that are shaped like an "X". She has soft violet looking eyes and a youthful aura in all of her photos. Her clothing style usually contains something blue. It is stated that Yoosung dyed his hair blonde to get a girlfriend, but perhaps also to look closer to his cousin who was also blonde. His natural hair color is dark brown and was usually well maintained. Yoosung grew up in what he calls a typically normal family with his mother, father, and sister. It wasn't until sixth grade that Yoosung met his adopted cousin, Rika, and began spending more time with her at his mother's urging. Eventually, Yoosung began to greatly admire and idolize Rika for her kindness and ability to make others happy; Yoosung admits that he even thought of Rika as a "magician" who could bring happiness to everyone. As a result of his close friendship with his cousin, Yoosung eventually joined the RFA and became friends with the other members. Rika was a big influence on Yoosung and he decided to apply to SKY University as she had told him, instead of applying to a university closer to him. It was because of Rika that Yoosung decided to become a veterinarian after the death of his beloved Rika, whom he loved so much. Rika had a big hand in shaping Yoosung and his future, which made him want to be better. He is masochistic and jealous... and tender
