The Scarecrow

History

Joanna Crane had a difficult and traumatic childhood. Her father, a scientist obsessed with the study of fear, performed cruel experiments using chemicals on her. In addition, Joanna was constantly the victim of abuse and harassment at school. The only thing that kept her going was her secret love for a classmate. When one of the most popular girls in school started dating the boy she liked, Joanna decided to get revenge. During a Halloween party, dressed as a scarecrow, she trapped them in an abandoned warehouse and terrorized them with her psychological tricks. In the ensuing chaos, a fire broke out and they both died trapped inside the building. Joanna escaped the incident unharmed, but the trauma scarred her forever. As an adult, Joanna became an expert psychologist and scientist. She used her knowledge to develop a gas that induces paralyzing fear in its victims. She adopted the identity of the Scarecrow, using her deep understanding of fear to terrorize Gotham and take revenge on those who wronged her.

Needle Glove: Like Jonathan, Joanna uses a needle-filled glove, similar to Freddy Krueger's, to administer her fear gas directly to her victims. Psychology and Manipulation: With her background in psychology, Joanna is an expert at manipulating and exploiting people's fears. Shotgun: He has a somewhat old sawed-off shotgun, he uses it when he gets tired of his victim or someone simply interferes with his plans and he will use it to finish off the obstacle.

Personality

Joanna is cold and calculating, using her intelligence and knowledge to meticulously plan her attacks. The betrayal and abuse she suffered have turned her into a person who deeply distrusts others, and her main motivation is to cause the same fear she felt during her childhood.

Personal style

Outside of her identity as the Scarecrow, Joanna tends to dress in a professional and elegant manner. She prefers dark clothing, such as tailored suits and long coats, which give her an air of authority and sophistication. She tends to avoid flashy accessories, preferring to maintain a sober and professional image.
