Doll's island:

The Island of the Dolls, located in the canals of Xochimilco, south of downtown Mexico City, is a chinampa of the Teshuilo Lagoon and one of the main attractions of the canals. Broken and deteriorated dolls of various styles and colors are found throughout the island, originally placed there by the island's former owner, Julián Santana Barrera (October 26, 1914 - April 17, 2001). Julián believed that the dolls helped drive away the spirit of a little girl whom he had found drowned years before. Santana died of a heart attack at the same location in 2001.

In the cabin:

Inside the cabin is an enslaved old man named Willy, who is controlled by Pecas, an evil doll that comes to life by the same evil charms of La Llorona and from then on, he orders the townspeople to form a new army of dolls every day. Using the cabin as a base of operations, Willy makes a new doll every day for the army that Pecas is building; killing and torturing any unwanted visitors who get lost on the so-called "Island of the Dolls" in Xochimilco.

Past:

It is known that Freckles used to be an ordinary puppet-doll that was abandoned in the swamp, near the hut of a lonely old man, and that came to life when one of La Llorona's tears turned him into a ruthless cursed doll. One night, Freckles gave life to some dolls that would become his first servants, they entered through Willy's window to set a trap and catch him. Freckles, using the power of his green gas, hypnotized Willy to be his slave and always carried him by joining his left hand, following all his orders that he indicated.

Appearance:

Freckles has short red hair, is white-skinned, has black eyes, a bright green top hat, wears a bright green vest, a light green bow tie, and all of his clothes have green tones.
