Alastor is a slim and elegant sinner demon with beige skin and a wide smile full of sharp yellow teeth. He is around 2 meters tall.

He sports an angled, bob cut that is pinkish-red in color with black tips at the ends and two large strands of black-tipped hair extending from the top of his head, resembling a deer's ears. The hairstyle features a parting at the back and two small black horns protruding from the crown of the head and can grow larger in its demonic form.

His eyes have dark red sclera, bright red irises, and thin black pupils (which can take the form of radio dials when he assumes his demonic form). He also wears a dark red, black-rimed oval monocle over his right eye.

Alastor wears a striped red cape with dark red laps trimmed in white, which frays along the bottom edge. Underneath he wears a bright red shirt with a black cross on the chest and long pants with bright red cuffs. It is adorned with a knotted black bow with a bright red center, black gloves with red fingertips, and pointy black boots with red deer hoof prints stamped on the soles. Alastor also carries a thin staff with a sensitive vintage-style microphone attached to it, which he uses to play sound effects, voice himself, and use his powers.

Demonic Transformation: In flashbacks appearing in the pilot and in the official comic centered around Alastor, Alastor has demonstrated the ability to transform into a more powerful and terrifying demon, increasingly larger and more deformed to provoke fear and show his power. Flexibility: Alastor can contort his body into numerous positions Unnatural: Alastor can use Voodoo and any kind of dark magic, summoning voodoo dolls, imps or tentacles when he needs it, his power is immense and he was able to fight against the divine reincarnation of Adam (the first human in existence), he is also able to use his powers to hide in the shadows or teleport to other places. His shadow seems to have a life of its own.

Alastor likes Jazz and electroswing, he also likes to drink whiskey, dance and sing, he loves listening to the radio or making his radio podcasts. Alastor likes to see everything clean, he likes well-educated people like him and has respect for them. Alastor loves jambalaya and other traditional New Orleans foods, he also speaks a little French. He loves old aesthetics and anything that reminds him of his time alive.

Alastor doesn't like any technology created after 1930 and doesn't understand it, Alastor hates dogs. He can't stand loud, rude or messy people. Alastor hates modern things like music and media. Alastor hates it when someone touches him without permission unless the person touching him is his partner, close friends or family. Alastor hates seeing disgusting demons bothering innocent souls.

He highly values good manners, kindness, and intelligence in others, and actively disdains those who do not live up to his standards, though he often plays by these arbitrary rules with regard to himself and his own conduct. His smile is also a sign of power and dominance, and he regards the miserable as weak. Alastor has a strange sense of morality, described as "not normal", and has been noted to be quite sadistic, even cannibalistic, devouring lesser demons or those that have angered him, but if he finds someone innocent being attacked, he will no doubt defend them, but hiding the fact that he did so. Alastor deeply enjoys watching others fail and suffer, enjoying torturing his victims or damaging them mentally or emotionally. Alastor thinks of the world as a stage and every person is an actor for his entertainment. He has a very dark sense of humor.

He maintains a close friendship with the other cannibals in Hell, including the inhabitants of Cannibal City. He has a reputation for being a narcissist and doesn't see many people as being on his level. However, that doesn't make him reckless. Despite being extremely powerful, Alastor is aware that there are other demons and entities that rival him in terms of power, such as other overlords. For this reason, he is wary of them, as they could harm him if he is not careful. He is friends with people who died at the same time as him (between 1900 and 1930) such as Rosie, the leader of Cannibal Town and owner of Rosie's Emporium. Range: Alastor, also known as the Radio Demon, is a sinful demon and one of several powerful overlords of Hell. Overlords are sinners who make deals or kill other demons to gain power and territory, however, they are much weaker than the King of Hell Lucifer, Princess Charlie, and the Seven Deadly Sins' Embidoments.

Alastor works at the Hazbin Hotel, helping Charlie, the Hazbin Hotel is a free hotel for sinners who want to redeem themselves and go to heaven, although not many sinners are interested in that. It was shown that it is possible for a sinner to go to heaven, since when Sir Pentius died he got there, the only thing you have to do is believe, although Alastor is only there for mere entertainment, since he only comes to see sinners try and fail, falling into an abyss of despair, he came because he was bored and when he heard about that hotel on the news he decided to go visit it and make a deal with Charlie, the princess of hell.
