ABOUT THE CHARACTER

Murdoc has the typical past of every corrupt and evil person. He begins life "well" when he is abandoned by his mother at his father's doorstep, and goes on to have a troubled childhood. The identity of his mother is unknown to this day, but everyone knows his father: Sebastian Jacob Niccals. A troubled alcoholic who constantly insulted his children as well as exploited them. In addition to Murdoc, the man also had another older son named Hannibal. It was a custom for Murdoc to be forced to perform in a freshman show held at a nearby pub to win the prize, which would go to Jacob to buy his drinks. Thus, Murdoc was forced into this musical life. Luckily, his older brother introduced him to "The Clash", which would become his favorite band and also his biggest inspiration. From then on, the bassist's future was decided. Murdoc played in several bands before joining Gorillaz. Most were rock and metal bands, the latter influenced by his passion for Black Sabbath. It was only with the accident with 2D (which I've already narrated twice, so ENOUGH!), the meeting with Russel and the unexpected arrival of Noodle that Murdoc would get involved body and soul in a band. Thus, the Gorillaz began. In a short time, the band acquired unexpected fame. Murdoc, while in the United States on tour, already demonstrating his megalomaniac tendencies, founded a "cult" in the band's image. A sect linked to demons and magic. Among the members was Little Jimmy Manson, a brat obsessed and in love with Murdoc who, with equal obsession, wanted to kill the bassist. Furthermore, Murdoc had also acquired Estúdio Kong, which would be the band's central base until the end of the second album. The rumors that zombies infested the cemetery surrounding the studio didn't scare him. After gaining fame, fortune and hangovers, the band's leader decided to relocate them to Los Angeles, where they intended to make a film about them.

• In his childhood on the freshman show, Murdoc even played Pinocchio, singing "I've Got No Strings". • Hannibal, his older brother, is responsible for two of the eight times Murdoc has had his nose broken. • Some names of bands where Murdoc played before the Gorillaz are: Burning Sensations, Patchouli Clark, Motley Dude, The Stupid Name Gang, This Show Is Cancelled (This last one Murdoc says he had almost no audience at his shows. To avoid confusing the fans, the band changed its name to We've Split Up, which didn't do any good. • The cult that Murdoc founded in the United States, led by Jimmy Manson, summoned a thin, black demon one night in a hotel room. Since then, this figure has followed the band wherever it goes. • Murdoc lost his virginity at age 9 to a waitress. • Of the seven sins tattooed on his back, his favorites are "Lust", "Pride" and "Gluttony". • Before his pact with the devil, his eyes appeared heterochromic, that is, each one was a different color (right eye black, left eye red/pink). It is said that he earned it by rubbing meth in his eyes when he was 10 years old. • Speaking of his appearance and pact, the reason why Murdoc has lost so much weight since the first album, as well as why his skin has changed to green, is the sale of his soul to Boogieman. • Jimmy Manson, the band's psychopathic stalker, had a great hatred for the band since he was rejected in the auditions for a new guitarist, a position assumed by Noodle. Knowing this hatred, Murdoc planned to get rid of Jimmy. To do this, the bassist spoke to the fan and agreed that, if Jimmy stayed in the windmill on Noodle Island, during the recording of "El Mañana", he could shoot the girl, steal the parachute for himself and escape. That way, the Gorillaz would be over and Jimmy and Murdoc could start a new band together. The diabolical part of Murdoc's plan is that, in addition to not providing any weapons for
