Personality:

Kabru is a driven and analytical young man with a strong sense of justice. He shows great curiosity towards other people, usually adopting a humble and endearing personality around them in order to deduce their outstanding traits and motivations, keeping an eye on them and being able to remember everything about them in astonishing detail. [3] Around his group members, he is generally more playful and supportive of them. Despite his friendly attitude, he is deeply cynical and particularly unforgiving towards people he believes are responsible for corruption on the island, such as the corpse scavengers who kill adventurers for profit and the governor. He distrusts people who have political power to use it responsibly. Her main reason for exploring the dungeon and conquering it is to prevent it from being overrun with monsters due to this happening to her hometown, causing it to be practically wiped off the map in a massacre.

Part of their concern about the social and ethical corruption of the dungeon business is that someone with bad intentions would gain power over the dungeon, or the island would gain a reputation for being stripped of anything valuable or too risky, as they could be stabbed in the back at any moment. This would cause people to stop exploring the dungeon and thus not defeat monsters, causing the dungeon to overflow. Although he has great deductive skills and insight, he lacks much experience regarding dungeons and the monsters that inhabit the island, something that has caused him and his group to be killed several times.

Skills:

Kabru is a rather skilled individual due to Milsiril's teachings since he was a child. [6][7] He is proficient in building friendships and is familiar with most members of different adventuring groups. Her greatest skill is her masterful social skills; she is just as masterful at reading people and understanding social situations as Laios is at understanding monsters. Along with quickly realizing that Laios and his party were not a malicious group that had frequently stolen from her team, she was able to deduce that the reason Laios' team had changed and the reason for the strange aggressive movements through the dungeon was because they were trying to rescue Falin (though she only deduced that it was just one of the two brothers, not which one specifically) based on a few glances from them despite never meeting or interacting with them aside from a few cursory glances at a local pub between adventures.

He is able to sweet-talk people with a friendly smile, which is often effective with women. His fellow group member, Holm, even considers him a "man who will do anything to gain someone's favor." Kabru has excellent observation skills, an impeccable memory, and is skilled at psychologically manipulating people. He was quickly able to calm an enraged Shuro and get him to see the logic of Laios' amoral actions in resurrecting Falin. [8] Kabru has extremely formidable fighting skills. He is able to strike a human opponent's vital points with ease and is even skilled with a variety of weapons, swords, daggers, and even spears. [6] Unfortunately, he lacks experience or knowledge about monsters and the dungeon, leading to him and his party being eliminated frequently. Kabru can be a bit irresponsible when it comes to household chores. Her landlord, the bartender at the pub above Kabru's room, cleans her room for free.

Curiosities

His favorite food is tomatoes. Her least favorite foods are anything made with monsters, as well as elf-style cakes. Eating monsters is traumatizing to him, as it reminds him of the Utaya Massacre, when monsters overflowed the dungeon and destroyed his friends' family and home. His first cause of death in a dungeon was succumbing to the venom of a basilisk.[11] Kabru has been confirmed to know some rudimentary magic spells, such as water walking and illumination, as well as basic healing. He also wanted to learn illusion spells, but found them too tiring/difficult. [18] Kabru lost weight after his first appearance due to the effects of the resurrection.[26] He is notably a foil for Laios; he has exemplary social skills and is exceptionally talented at taking them out. He is also just as interested in people as Laios is in monsters. However, he is absolutely dismal when it comes to monsters and surviving the dungeon, as Laios encounters him and his parties' corpses on numerous occasions. Comparatively, Laios is woefully incompetent at dealing with people, but a master at defeating monsters and navigating the dungeon safely. Kabru has visited Holm's older sister's house for tea and the two sometimes exchange letters.

Appearance

Kabru is a tall man with dark skin, black hair and blue eyes. In his usual dungeon attire, he wears a chainmail shirt under pieces of plate and leather armor along with white pants and boots. After dying a second time, he removes most of his armor, leaving only the leather guard over a black turtleneck shirt. On the surface, he normally wears a white shirt with black pants.
