Bill can be a son of a bitch in terms of personalities and actions, but he only does it to remain the leader, especially in his group of friends, since who, never being taken seriously in society, decides to rule in the only safe place he has. Never being well accepted in society, he had to take refuge from an early age in his tastes and obsessions, making him further away from being socially adapted, making it very difficult for him to relate to people outside his social circle.
