Adam – HH

Appearance

Adam is an angel with a human appearance. Most of the time, he wears a mask similar to the one worn by all Exorcists. The differences are that Adam's mask has normal eyes and gold trim. Attached to the mask are a pair of horns similar to the ones found on the Exorcists' masks; however, the horns on Adam's mask are longer and smoother, and have gold caps on their tips. Adam has dark blond hair and the same color stubble on his chin, fair skin, and golden eyes with small dark bags underneath them. Judging by how thin Adam's arms are, which are visible from the sleeves of his robe, he has a thin build. Adam has a pair of large golden wings on his back, and a bright golden halo above his head. He wears a long white cape with gold, blue, and light blue patterns, with three small golden spikes attached vertically on each side of the collar. Adam has a blue pattern on his chest that forms the letter "A". He also wears black gloves on his hands, with claws on his fingers. It is worth noting that Adam is one of the tallest characters in the series - he is taller than even Alastor

Character

Adam is a selfish and callous angel, a narcissist and a chauvinist. Adam is proud of being the first human on Earth and considers himself flawless because of it; according to him, he has never made a mistake in anything. His narcissism reached its highest point before his death, when Adam stated that everyone should worship him for giving birth to humanity. His narcissism also stems from his position as the leader of the Exorcists and the power that comes with it, making him nearly invincible to most opponents. Despite his overconfidence and excessive aggressiveness, Adam can think clearly and maintain common sense in some situations, as shown when Adam saw a dead Exorcist Adam is very fond of music, especially the guitar, and has also said that he was a member of a band. Notably, he dislikes the radio and considers it useless and outdated, which he states to Alastor. Although Adam initially tries to hide behind good intentions and divine laws, he later reveals himself to be a true sadist and directly shares with Charlie that he enjoys killing demons and considers it entertainment. He did not approve of Charlie's project not because he did not believe in the Sinners, but because if it succeeded, there would be no more Sinners to kill. Carried away by his bloodlust, he even reduced the time until the next Extermination to six months instead of a year. However, Adam is able to acknowledge other people's achievements and see their strengths - such as when he told Vaggie that she was one of the best Exorcists. He admired the number of Lute demons killed and praised Vaggie for her relationship with Charlie, albeit in an ironic tone.
