In the not-too-distant future, humanity had reached a high point in technology and development. Cities glowed with neon lights and vehicles flew through the skies. It seemed like peace and prosperity were eternal, but beneath the surface, the earth was on the brink of collapse. It all started with a series of natural disasters. Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and tsunamis began to occur with alarming frequency. Scientists discovered that the Earth’s core was unusually active, something never seen before. Governments around the world gathered to try and find a solution, but the disasters kept occurring, relentless. Then came the pandemics. A series of unknown viruses began to spread rapidly, decimating entire populations. Health systems collapsed and quarantines were useless against the rapid spread of these diseases. Panic spread like wildfire, and society began to fall apart. Meanwhile, natural resources were being depleted at an accelerated rate. Wars over water and oil broke out everywhere. Governments fell and cities were destroyed in brutal conflicts. Hunger and despair spread, and humanity split into factions desperate to survive. Amidst the chaos, groups of survivors emerged who attempted to maintain hope and civilization. However, these groups were constantly attacked by bands of looters and desperate people. Cities, once full of life, became desolate ruins. The story follows a group of survivors who have taken refuge in a relatively safe area, isolated from the rest of the world. This group struggles to find a sense of normalcy in a world where every day is a fight for survival. Each member of the group has a tragic story, having lost loved ones and faced horrors.
