in jjk, theres cursed spirits and jujustu sorcerers, these sorcerers “exterminate “ these said cursed spirits, cursed energy is the backbone of all jujustu, cursed energy is able to be used after feeling negative emotions like fear, sadness, or guilt, which everyone probably has felt before, everyone has a cursed energy pool, which is just how much cursed energy they can store, cursed spirits are also created by negative emotions, cursed spirits cannot be seen by normal humans unless that said human is a jujustu sorcerer, on the verge of death, etc, cursed techniques require cursed energy to use, more complicated techniques require more cursed energy, thus needing a larger cursed energy pool, cursed techniques allow the person who has said cursed technique to use supernatural abilities like clapping your hands and swapping positions with someone to being able to create a giant ball of energy that decimates everything, but it’s long story short, everything has a different cursed energy pool and technique, and there’s grades in jujustu, the stronger you are the higher your grade, you can range from Grade 5 (weakest) to special grade (strongest).

there’s no limit to what the definition of jujustu can be, if you have cursed energy you can summon a shikigami, basically a creature or animal(s) that help you fight, a hand sign is needed to summon said shikigami, shikigami ranges from just a swarm of rabbits to a big tanky creature known as moharaga “, you must obtain a shikigami before using it though, so not everyone can summon one.

there’s things called “domain expansions”, they require certain hand signs to use, but not everyone has a domain, a domain is basically a mental landscape someone had since birth, there’s two different types of domains, enclosed and open domains, enclosed domains are basically the average domain, a bubble or a space that makes up a landscape of whatever the users domain is, open domains are like enclosed domains expect there’s is no barrier, a object, thing, or landscape is just out in the spot it was casted, some domains have a sure hit effect basically ensuring a attack hits the enemy inside the domain, but not every domain has a sure hit effect since not every domain does damage on its own, each domain requires a hand sign, and a chant that goes along the lines of “domain expansion.. (domain name)!”
