Summary
Spider-Man or Hobie Brown in his civilian identity is a young African-American who was bitten by a radioactive spider and assumed the role of Spider-Man to lead an army against the tyranny of President Norman Osborn. After freeing his world from oppression, he joined Superior Spider-Man's group to fight The Inheritors.
History
[Origin] Hobie Brown is a young man who was bitten by a radioactive spider infected with illegal waste and after this event he became the Anarchic Spider-Man to fight the corruption that plagued his world. [Anarchy] Over time, Spider-Man was transformed into the leader of the Spider-Army, a group of people oppressed by President Osborn's regime. Hobart used his free spirit as a "radioactive suicide machine" to enlist the support of the lower classes that the regime wanted to eradicate in the name of American "strength." This conflict led them to a final showdown against Osborn who led his forces, the Thunderbolt Department a corrupt army powered by VENOM, to eliminate their detractors. Despite having no support from the authorities or the media, Spider-Man and his group did not give up and to end the oppression Hobie used his 15,000 volt punk rock "army of amplifiers" to disable the Thunderbolts' new sybiotic technologies, which gave them the opportunity to defeat their oppressors. Spider-Man then killed Osborn and unmasked himself before the crowd.
History
[Spider-verse] At the beginning of the Great Hunt, Superior Spider-Man, who saw his exploits, recruited him for his army of Spider-Men for being furious, unpredictable and looking for trouble. He then traveled to Earth-1610 alongside Spider-Man: Assassin and Superior Spider-Man to save the Spider-Totems of that reality, Miles Morales and Jessica Drew. Upon their arrival, they found Verna and her Hounds attacking the young arachnids. Splitting up to confront their enemies, Spider-Punk killed Kravinoff. After recruiting Miles and Jessica, they returned to their base on Earth-928. Some time later, another team of Spider-Men arrived at their base to recruit them, but as soon as they discussed the matter, Daemos emerged from a portal and attacked them, killing one of their teammates, the Spider-Cyborg. With the combined effort of all the Spider-Men, Superior Spider-Man managed to deal the final blow to Daemos. While discussing the studies to be performed on the Heir's corpse, a new portal opened, which brought with it another Daemos along with the twins Brix and Bora. During this battle, one more of Spider-Punk's teammates, the Killer Spider-Man, was annihilated by Daemos. After splitting into subgroups, Spider-Punk joined the Amazing Spider-Man team and escaped to the Safe-Zone on Earth-13. Upon arriving in this new universe, tensions within the group were high as Amazing Spider-Man and Superior Spider-Man battled for leadership of the group. Spider-Punk witnessed the fight and bet that Amazing would win, which ultimately happened.
History
After settling those issues, Amazing Spider-Man split up the team to recruit more Spider-Men across the multiverse. However, the problems continued as The Inheritors found them and launched a counterattack that killed several Spider-Men, including the team's strongest, Captain Universe, who was killed by Solus. This greatly surprised Spider-Punk as he was his trump card against the Totem Hunters. After taking The Scion, Morlun returned to Earth-001, while Solus decided to stay and finish off the remaining Spider-Totems. Fortunately, Amazing Spider-Man returned with reinforcements, including Takuya Yamashiro and his robot Leopardon, who fought Solus. Taking advantage of the Heir's distraction, Spider-Punk and the other Spider-Men fled to Earth-8847. However, they were once again found by Verna and her Hounds thanks to Jennix, who had intercepted their communications through the universal threads of the Great Web. Spider-Punk battled one of these hounds, Hammerhead, but he and his fellow arachnids quickly escaped to Earth-3145, an irradiated world where the Inheritors could not follow them. Once there, they followed directions left by Silk and found Sims Tower, where they found not only Cindy but also the world's spider-totem, Ben Parker. After hearing Ben's story, Spider-Punk and the other arachnids discovered through the scrolls sent by Jessica Drew that The Inheritors planned to sacrifice The Other, The Bride and The Scion in a ritual to prevent the birth of new Spider-Totems in the multiverse. Knowing this, Spider-Punk joined the team led by Anya Corazon to recruit Karn because with the information provided by the second scroll, they discovered that this Heir had been banished by his family and could be of help to them.
History
Spider-Punk and his companions found Karn on Earth-3123 just as he was about to kill the Spider-Totem of this universe, Spider-Ma'am. After a brief fight, Hobart and the others managed to convince Karn to join them in defeating his family and with their newfound ally, the spiders traveled to Earth-001. Upon their arrival, Spider-Punk and his group fought the Inheritors Verna, Brix, and Bora, whom they eventually defeated with Karn's help. After stopping the sacrificial ritual and defeating Morlun, the Spider-Army banished the Inheritors to Earth-3145, an irradiated and completely uninhabited world. After this, Hobart returned to his home reality, but not before warning Spider-UK to keep an eye on Karn, reminding him that Karn had killed countless Spider-Men despite having helped the Spider-Army against his brothers.
Powers and Abilities
Arachnid Physiology: Spider-Man possesses the proportional powers of a spider, granted through a radioactive spider infected with illegal waste that bit him. Radioactive enzymes with mutagenic compounds in the spider's blood were transferred during the bite and produced numerous changes in Hobie giving him amazing powers. Superhuman Strength: Spider-Man's strength allows him to lift 10 tons of weight, enough to lift medium-sized cars. The strength he possesses allows him to jump several meters high, in addition to swinging through the roofs using his spider web (he is capable of lifting himself with just one hand and pulling himself several meters). Spider-Man "contains" his blows so as not to "tear apart" the criminals he hits, and rarely uses his strength at 100% except against enemies that merit it. Superhuman Speed: His speed factor and reflexes are several dozen times faster than any human being in perfect physical condition. On more than one occasion he has moved faster than bullets, even when they have already been fired, showing his incredible speed and reflexes. Spider-Man is even able to intercept them with his webs. Superhuman Agility: On a physical level, the bite produced changes at the muscular level, increasing his physical capacity (causing some hypertrophy as well) to a superhuman level; The number of tendons present also increased, which facilitates highly complex postures. His superhuman strength is present in all his limbs, so he is capable of jumping great lengths, and falling from them without causing too much damage. All its joints became more flexible and resistant to blows and impacts.
Powers and Abilities
Superhuman Durability: This incredible physical power also gives him superhuman endurance, being able to resist fatigue and exhaustion for hours and even days. His durability is also at superhuman levels, with his tissues being harder than those of an ordinary person, allowing him to withstand attacks and physical damage that would kill any normal human. Superhuman Reflexes: Spider-Man possesses reflexes and movements that allow him to dodge almost any object traveling at high speeds. His extraordinary agility, reflexes and speed, combined with his spider-sense, allow him to escape any attack as if it were nothing. Superhuman Stamina: Spider-Man's advanced musculature produces fewer fatigue toxins during physical activity than an ordinary human being. This allows him to push himself physically for longer periods of time before fatigue begins to impair his physical performance. Wall-Crawler: The spider that bit Spider-Man produced a mutation in Hobie's cerebellum, as a result of which he can mentally control the flow of interatomic (electrostatic) attraction between the molecular boundaries of surfaces, thus overcoming the normal repulsion of electrons and allowing for his incredible adhesion potential. This ability to affect the attraction between surfaces is so far limited to Spider-Man's body and especially concentrated in his hands and feet.
Powers and Abilities
Spider-Sense: Spider-Man possesses an extrasensory sense or spider-sense that warns him of potential immediate danger with a tingling sensation in the back of his head. The precise nature of this sense is unknown. It appears to be a simultaneous, clairvoyant response to a complex variety of phenomena, warning him several hundredths of a second before danger occurs (falls, bullets, or even undefined dangers). The sense can also create a general response several minutes in advance to a threat without knowing its nature, and can discern the severity of the danger by the intensity of the tingling.
equipment
Electric Guitar: A guitar that uses the principle of electromagnetic induction to convert the vibrations of its metal strings into electrical signals. Hobie also uses this instrument as a weapon to combat his opponents.
Data
Spider-punk was a fan of the Gwen Stacy of his world as she was the most influential artist of her generation. This version of Spider-Man could perhaps be considered the most vulgar ever created, being a completely messy and rude person, although possibly he does so in a cheerful sense, since he has the characteristics of a punk, not knowing what it is to be calm or to be a passive hero. Interestingly, in the Spider-Verse event, he seemed to say some kind of swear word after seeing a murdered Spider-Man. REAL NAME Hobart Brown CURRENT ALIAS Spider-Man OTHER ALIASES The Anarchic Spider-Man Punk-Rock Spidey Spider-Punk GROUPS Superior Spider-Army Spider-Army HEADQUARTERS New York, Earth-138 [State] IDENTITY Secret identity CITIZENSHIP United States OCCUPATION Vigilant [Characteristics] GENDER Male RACE Human EYES Browns HAIR Black [Origin] UNIVERSE Earth-138 Physique: Hobie is a tall, skinny, though somewhat muscular boy with black skin, messy black afro hair, dark eyes, and African-American facial features. Personality: He is someone very extremist and extroverted, also very eccentric, he loves to play the electric guitar and creating songs is his way of letting off steam. He does not like labels but in a contradictory way he uses them all the time either to talk about himself or other people. He is attractive and he knows it. For a time in his life he was a model but he accepts that he, despite being very attractive, was not good at it. He is very intelligent even if it does not seem so, even in technological matters in which he does not seem experienced but he really is. He usually lets his closest friends stay at his house if they want. He is someone somewhat intense and sometimes calmer at the least indicated moments. He does not have much shame or modesty when it comes to talking about topics that are usually taboo or private. Hobie hates being called Hobart
Headcanons
In punk culture, the laces on your boots have a meaning depending on their color. Hobie wears blue laces, which in punk culture usually means that he killed a cop or feels guilty about the death of one. Hobie apparently never talks about this and if you ask him he will probably ignore you or quickly change the subject. It is believed that he is pansexual, since whenever someone asks him what kind of people he likes, he answers "people"
