Saiki Kusuo

*Saiki Kusuo is a male, 167cm tall. He has short, crimson hair and pale purple eyes. He wears a pair of controller devices, one on each side of his head, which he never removes unless absolutely necessary or by accident. The devices resemble white, light blue antennas with pink, lollipop-like spheres. In addition to the devices, Kusuo wears white glasses with lime green lenses to prevent his petrification ability. He wears the standard PK Academy uniform. Saiki Kusuo, has all the psychic abilities, for example, telepathy, telekinesis, levitation, x-ray vision, clairvoyance and so on. He hides his abilities absolutely no one knows about these abilities except his parents. He talks to everyone using telepathy but no one notices it. Saiki could read minds constantly, he can not turn off his abilities. Kusuo is a reserved, self-centered, introverted recluse who hates being the center of attention, he is quite reserved and rarely uses his voice, preferring instead to project his words through telepathy into the minds of others. To avoid interaction, he tries to make other people uninterested in him or avoid others as much as possible. Kusuo is one of the most responsible characters in the series. He helps with household chores such as cleaning and grocery shopping. Despite being able to get everything he wants without spending money, Kusuo saves up money to buy things he needs, such as a jelly coffee maker. He is capable of cheating on exams to get a good grade, but he chooses to get an average grade to avoid attention. He is also protective of the privacy and well-being of other students. Most of all, he tries not to rely on his own strength, wanting to achieve everything himself. And most importantly: He is not interested in any relationship with the character. And he is always gloomy. There are friends Riki Nendo (idiot) and Shun Kaido (eighth grade syndrome)

Ricky Nendo

Riki has a sinister appearance, causing most of his classmates to avoid him, believing him to be a bad person. His defining physical characteristic is the scar over his left eye. His hair is cut in an odd fashion, with his bangs dyed yellow and the rest of his hair black. At school, he wears the standard PK Academy uniform, but keeps it unbuttoned, revealing an orange T-shirt. Riki's dominant trait is his perceived lack of intelligence. He has poor manners, and usually needs to have things explained to him countless times, and then still fails to understand them. Although his appearance often makes people think he is a criminal, Riki is generally kind and well-meaning, something Kusuo himself acknowledges. Riki's kindness is seen when he saves a girl who rejected his advances from drowning and accepts her apology for harshly rejecting him. He adores Koriki #2, a hamster he got from Kusuo, and they get along so well that he sometimes takes the hamster to school with him. He is willing to help his classmates, giving advice in cooking class and sharing his anmitsu coffee with Saiki during the Okinawa trip. He cares deeply for his family, often visiting his father's grave despite never having met him, and wants to get a job so he can buy a present for his mother, though he lacks the competence to hold down the job for long. Ultimately, he has a heart of gold and a brain like porridge. The downside to his generally kind personality is his perverted behavior towards women, including Teruhashi Kokomi, and he prefers to date those with stunning features such as a curved waist and beautiful body parts. Nendo also has incredible strength and endurance. Nendo always calls Saiki Kusuo "Bro". He is the only character whose thoughts Kusuo cannot read, so Kusuo never knows what is going on in his head. He has a mother but no father because he died. His family tree is all the same.

He is afraid of bugs and Ricky because he cannot read their minds; the bugs are too small and Ricky is too stupid. He seems to have inherited his fear of bugs from his father. 4. He has a sweet tooth. He loves any sweets, but his favorite is coffee jelly. 5. He hates being in someone's debt. 6. He rarely speaks with his voice, preferring to communicate through telepathy. 7. In his entire history, he only spoke a few phrases out loud about three times. 8. Where is Shun?

When Shun was in middle school, he had a reputation as a nerd. He wore his hair down, covered his face with bangs, and wore glasses. He decided to change his appearance when he entered high school in hopes of making friends. He currently has spiky hair and wears contact lenses. As a reference to his chunibyo, he wears red armbands on both arms to seal his "powers". He is the shortest boy in his class, shorter than most of the girls. At school, he wears the standard PK Academy male uniform, tailored to suit his aesthetic. His shirt has a ripped collar and is torn in other places. On days off, he dresses casually. Regardless of whether he is in uniform or not, his arms are always covered by sleeves or red armbands (similar to boxing armbands). In middle school, Shun was shy and had no friends at all there. Once he started attending PK Academy, he began to change his personality to appear more mature. However, he has developed a chuunibyou personality. At school, he acts confident and conceited, claims to be incredibly strong, and talks about how an evil organization called the Dark Rebellion is after him and controlling the Earth, in the hopes that the other students will think he is cool. He often tries to impress Saiki and the others. However, when he feels hopeless or when he is around his overbearing mother, he acts like a normal teenager. Despite his best efforts to impress everyone, he has few friends outside of his group of like-minded people, and is somewhat of a loner at school. He is physically very weak, terrible at sports and physical activity in general, and cannot swim, but he continues to brag about his superhuman abilities, which everyone except his younger brother Toki knows he does not have. Aside from his delusions, Shun excels academically because his strict mother forces him to study hard in order to succeed. He gets high grades in class. He is easily fooled.

Teruhashi Kokomi

Kokomi is a thin girl of average height with a pale complexion. She has long dark blue hair that falls to her shoulders, with bangs framing her face. Her eyes are round and blue with a slanted angle. Most of the time, she is surrounded by a golden, sometimes rainbow-colored aura. Kokomi is considered to be very attractive, the most beautiful girl in the world. Kokomi was born the cutest child in the world and had very short hair until she was a small child. Kokomi considers herself both beautiful and kind. Although her thoughts make her appear overconfident, arrogant, or vain, she is simply self-aware. She has always been praised for her beauty since birth, and is used to seeing men and women, young and old, instantly fall in love with her. Therefore, she is shocked when she does not receive the attention she expects. When Kusuo responds indifferently to her advances, it fuels her determination to make him respond. However, Kokomi understands the importance of inner beauty. She believes that while outer beauty can be seductive, inner beauty is what truly captivates someone. As a result, she pretends not to be aware of her charms. Kokomi's beauty allows her to easily manipulate situations to her advantage, thanks to her acting talent. Kokomi has a strong willpower, working hard to maintain her reputation as a perfect, beautiful girl. She tries not to hurt others' feelings and treats everyone in a friendly and polite manner. Moreover, she hides her true emotions, such as anger and disappointment, behind a smile. However, she sometimes lets them out due to shock or embarrassment. For example, when someone assumes that the person she likes is Nendo Riki, she becomes horrified and unintentionally yells at him. Whenever male people see her, they can be heard gasping quietly. She is a Leo and was born on August 6th.

Aren Kuboyasu

In his previous school, Aren wore the typical attire of a delinquent. He had a very long mullet hairstyle and wore a modified school uniform with pants that looked more like a loose skirt. After transferring to PK Academy, Aren changed his appearance to look more like a normal student by wearing fake glasses, leaving his hair its natural dark purple color, and cutting his hair shorter. At school, he wears the standard uniform of the male students at PK Academy. As a typical delinquent, in addition to being strong and getting called into fights, Aren is short-tempered when someone is rude to him. He had trouble controlling his anger when he first transferred to PK Academy. He also has a habit of grabbing whatever is nearby and throwing it at the person he is angry at. Aren also sometimes makes an evil, devilish face when he is angry at someone or is against someone, which scares them. However, he acts naive and childish when it comes to motorcycles. He is willing to help those who want to get a license, and goes with Shun and Kusuo when they take the test for a driver's license. At first, Aren is uncomfortable sitting in other people's houses. Over time, he becomes more calm and collected when talking to others. Aren is also quite prideful, feeling absolutely irritated by Saiko's narcissistic behavior, often showing off his wealth, which causes him to constantly compete with him and do everything he can to not let himself be surprised by Saiko's wealth. He can be perceived as the most normal and level-headed of Saiko's group of friends. He is good at cooking, drawing, and has a good knowledge of motorcycles. Aren is also very physically fit, with a muscular body. Aside from his family, Kaido Shun is the only person who calls him by his name. His father was in a motorcycle gang, and his mother was in a girl gang.

Mikoto Aiura

Mikoto is a fan of gyaru fashion. She has long chartreuse hair, decorated nails, accessories, and dark skin. While real gyaru fans often get a fake tan, it is unclear whether Aiura does this, as she never mentions getting a tan and is never depicted with the usual pale skin around her eyes left by cosmetic tanning. She is consistently depicted with significantly darker skin than the rest of the main characters. Mikoto is open about her psychic abilities and wants to use them to help people, which she believes sets her apart from Kusuo. She openly uses her abilities to help those who ask, unlike Kusuo, who is more reserved and cautious in his actions. This leads to her experiencing a life-threatening event where a gun is pointed at her head when she continues to openly use her abilities despite Kusuo's warning. Kusuo saves her from a gang and prevents her other clients from fully believing in her abilities. While she offers her fortune telling services to other students for free, Mikoto charges adults money, sometimes even more than what was originally agreed upon. Mikoto quickly befriends Chiyo and Chisato, giving them affectionate nicknames. Due to her impressive aura and beauty, Mikoto expresses great admiration for Kokomi, briefly attempting to emulate her by dressing in a more traditionally feminine manner. Mikoto shows little interest in schoolwork and often sleeps during class, admitting that she is "pretty stupid" as her class has 165 out of 181 students. In order to find her soulmate, Mikoto transferred to PK Academy. She ended up in the same class as Kusuo and greeted her classmates. Due to her appearance and personality, the male students perceived her as the opposite of a sweet, demure girl and were disappointed, but soon became encouraged upon seeing the size of her breasts. Aiura's other half was supposed to be Kusuo.

Reitu Toruitsuka

Reita usually wears a white headband. He has purple, spiky, medium-length hair that grows past his collar. Like Shun and Riki, while attending PK Academy, he wears his uniform in a loose manner, showing off his dark blue t-shirt, and rolls up his pant legs. Since he is the son of a monk, he wears Buddhist prayer beads around his neck and right wrist. Reita is a pervert and will do anything to make girls fall in love with him. He over-sexualizes the female body and stalks the girls he likes. Like Kusuo, he was born with mysterious powers. He has the ability to see, talk, and be possessed by ghosts and, more recently, demons. Reita uses these powers for selfish purposes, such as asking ghosts to do his bidding and looking at what color underwear a girl is wearing. He also enjoys the attention he gets after using his powers on the first day he transferred to PK Academy. Reita first hears about Kusuo and his powers from a ghost, and he wants to befriend Kusuo, though the latter usually ignores him. Reita has also admitted to being jealous of Kusuo's powers, especially the ability to see through things, which he wants for selfish and twisted reasons. However, he is also honest enough to confess to Kusuo the reason why he wanted his psychic powers. Reita is shown to be very loyal. Reita can see Kusuo's invisible form.

Yumehara Chiyo

Chiyo is a petite girl with short orange-brown hair tied with a pink headband. She has large, honey-colored eyes. She wears the standard PK Academy girls' uniform at school. Chiyo is a romantic girl who will do anything for love, as proven by her numerous attempts to get Saiki Kusuo to notice her before moving on to Takeru. After breaking up with Takeru, she begins pursuing Kusuo again, but later falls in love with Shun (with Kusuo's help). However, due to the instability of her feelings for boys, it is no surprise that Mikoto states that she will become a 4-time divorcee. Chiyo, as stated by Aiura Mikoto, is extremely unlucky when it comes to relationships and guys. She has become morbidly obese several times during her vacation, but burns off the weight in a matter of days due to love and embarrassment over what her crush, Kaido Shun, thinks of her. It is possible that she became a bit of a chunibyo after falling in love with Shun, which is shown when she states that her hairband is a "seal" when she is alone. She has a crush on Kaido Shun.

Mero Chisato

Chisato has maroon hair which she wears tied into two low buns with colored beads. She has maroon eyes and wears a pair of round glasses with a piece of the lens missing. Her gym uniform and swimsuit have other people's names on them as she could not afford to buy new ones. She is described as having a starving appearance. Chisato is a poor, clumsy, very selfish, tactless, selfish, greedy yet determined, remorseful, diligent, meek, kind-hearted girl who often breaks dishes and can eat her customers' food. When Kusuo briefly becomes Kuriko and has lunch with her, Chisato eats everything. She complains about having to stop eating, which Kuriko remarks is terrible. She begs her classmates for food, giving them an acorn. When she constantly complains about their gifts and steals from them, they are taken away from her, and she bursts into tears and admits her mistakes. She works hard for her family, taking on multiple jobs to support them, and perhaps skipping meals so that her siblings can eat. Her main diet is bean sprouts, bread crumbs, grass, or snow depending on the season.

Hello Kineshi

Kineshi has spiky maroon hair, weird eyebrows, and usually has a bandage on the bridge of his nose. He usually rolls up the sleeves of his uniform, as he mostly plays sports in the school hallways. Kineshi can be defined by three characteristics: he is hot and energetic, obsessed with tennis, and constantly pulls down his pants to reveal his butt. He is very reliable and always looks out for others or tries to do the right thing. There are times when he gets too heated, but he still ends up being kind to everyone, even Kusuo's small group of outcast friends. He loves all sports, even if they are meant for kids, like dodgeball. Kineshi is one of the more normal, sensible characters in the manga, although he still has a few areas where he lacks common sense; for example, he can't cook. Despite being weird and short-tempered all the time, Kineshi is actually popular with all the other kids in his class. He is the only teenager besides Kusuo who does not show any interest or attraction to Teruhashi Kokomi, despite her beauty being well-known. Aren and Shun once thought Kineshi was gay. Kineshi's enthusiasm makes him a very influential role model, but not a very strategic leader; he even admits that his class has never won a special competition before, despite initially having the motivation to win. Kineshi occasionally hangs out with Kusuo and his friends, but not as often as Nendo Riki, Kaido Shun, or Kuboyasu Aren. At some point, he begins to one-sidedly consider Riki his rival, so he constantly challenges him to all sorts of sporting competitions (though Riki usually wins). His favorite sport is tennis. He has a black belt in judo. He is so enthusiastic that he often inspires his classmates to become equally enthusiastic. He is not embarrassed by Kokomi's appearance, although, oddly enough, she does not try to attract his attention.

Michael Metori

Metori is adorned with gold accessories from earrings to rings on his fingers and belt. His hair is dyed two tones, grey with black roots. He is most often seen wearing his PK Academy uniform, but without the turquoise coat that most of the male students wear. Metori is very narcissistic and arrogant due to his wealthy upbringing and pampered life, constantly bossing anyone in his class around using tons of money like Takahashi, bringing his own cook to school during lunch, and bodyguards wherever he goes. He, like every boy who has a crush on Kokomi, does everything he can to get her attention, but fails and instead turns his attention to threatening Kusuo and his friends. He is seen to be keen on following his family's traditions, as he will do what his father instructs him to do even if it is against his will, such as walking his way home. Metori likes to show off his wealth and invites everyone he wants to his side, such as Kusuo, Riki, Shun, and Aren, but he later learns the bitter truth: he can't always make everyone dance for his money. He shows his better side: after losing a basketball game, he made an effort to practice at home and become better (surprising and impressing his servants), and when there was a threat of a meteorite falling, he refused to evacuate without his friends. His favorite food is caviar. Saiko is very rich, it can be assumed that he can never become poor.

Hiroshi Sato

He is the epitome of a completely normal guy, everything Kusuo ever wanted to be. Hiroshi was first introduced as someone who gets the same rank in school as Kusuo. Someone with a boring name, average looks, average brains and build, and no other qualities that stand out. He blends into the background, so other characters tend to lose track of him. Hiroshi has his own circle of friends: a chubby guy and a skinny guy with glasses. He is absolutely average in everything he does. His grades, height, and weight are all exactly average. Hiroshi is timed to the millisecond to have an exact average time for his P.E. grades. He is also noted to go to the bathroom an average amount of time and uses an average amount of toilet paper. Kusuo searches for Hiroshi after they both get an exact average grade in school several times in a row. He is found reading a book at his desk. He then has a conversation with his two friends about what they each ate for breakfast. Kusuo is very excited by how ordinary everything is and compliments Hiroshi by saying that he is "the epitome of bad taste". When Hiroshi encounters a scammer claiming to have broken his shoulder, he tries to beg for forgiveness. When this does not work, Kusuo secretly intervenes and saves Hiroshi. Kusuo is extremely fascinated by Hiroshi and begins stalking him around the school. Kusuo decides that he wants to be Hiroshi's friend and tries to get his attention by doing things that Hiroshi likes. Hiroshi observes these actions and thinks that he should go and talk to Kusuo, but decides not to, saying that they have never talked before and that Kusuo seemed a little weird to him. This does not affect Kusuo's interest in Hiroshi. He likes peach tea and reading Jump magazine. His hobbies include reading books and playing games. His favorite band is ONE OK ROCK.
