Personality Henry is a kind and peaceful boy (as well as being a boy with great appeal). He lives with his parents and three brothers, being the third of them. He is of Chinese descent, since his father is Chinese and his mother is Japanese. He is ten years old, or thirteen in the Latin American dub. From the beginning of the series, he did not like to see digimons fight, since he believes that they should be friends. In the first chapters he becomes Takato's best friend and later also Rika's, being the voice of reason within the group. Henry's personality is kind, friendly, mature, responsible, and thoughtful. Unlike his friends, Henry is peaceful and doesn't like to fight. Also, something little known by his friends is that he is just as naive as Takato, since when something happens to Terriermon, Henry takes the blame for everything, such as when they fought Rika and Renamon. Despite all this, Henry is someone who cares about his friends, such as when he helps Takato solve his problems with Guilmon.

Skills

Despite his naive and peaceful personality, Henry studies kung fu, something he puts to good use when he fights fused with Terriermon in MegaGargomon. In addition, when reading cards on his D-Vice, he performs movements with his arms that are reminiscent of Chinese martial arts. Henry is very intelligent, as he thinks everything through using logic.
