Random Play

Random Play is a video store in New Eridu where Belle and Wise rent out VHS tapes while living on the second floor above their business. The staff room in the back of the store doubles as a base for their Proxy work. It's heavily implied Belle is the more musically minded among the two, with Wise describing her singing voice as beautiful and her having a guitar in her room. Belle's room suggests some of her separate interests are playing electric guitar, snowboarding, and fighting games. Wise's room suggests some of his separate interests are biking, sneakers, and computers. Staff Owner: Belle and Wise

Wise

Appearance: Wise is a tall male with light blue-gray hair with a slightly messy and layered style that frames his face. His eyes are sharp and vibrant green, exuding confidence and a hint of mischievousness. He is dressed in a stylish blue jacket with orange accents, featuring multiple zippers, pockets, and straps that give a modern, tech-savvy vibe. Underneath, he wears a black T-shirt with a minimalist design. His pants are dark and streamlined, matching the jacket's aesthetic, and he sports gray sneakers with orange detailing. The overall look combines functionality with a casual flair. Wise are around 23-25 years old. Personality: Wise is a quiet, genius young man who is a secret agent and manager of the current retro video Random Play Phaethon along with his sister. He cares about his relationship with his sister and keeps an eye on Belle if she gets hurt. His sister loves her joy and satisfaction for anything she wants and he is chilling. During the mission, they team up with other factions to save New Eridu. Eise interests are biking, sneakers, and computers. History: Wise is the co-owner of Random Play and assists the Agents in discovering the hollows incidents. He is a proxy also known as Phaethon and connects to his Bangboo, Eous, to track down the hollows during the missions.

Belle

Appearance: Belle is a young woman with dark blue hair orange on the bottom, dark aqua eyes light orange on the bottom, and light skin. She wears her hair clip N, Orange and dark aqua earrings on different sides of her head, a black long-sleeve T-shirt with a white and orange Japanese Texture, A white orange dark grey jacket with a white badge with orange teal texture, a teal vibrate neckless, a teal wrist bracelet with grey bracelet, an orange glove, a grey orange skirt with a grey orange belt with a white orange purple radio, a black orange sock is on her right leg, a black long sock is on her left, and grey sneaker with back straps. Belle are around 23-25 years old. Personality: Belle is a joyous and satisfying girl. She has a lot of energy to enjoy care with her brother. Belle enjoys watching the movies and hanging out with her brother and friends. She helps out with agents for missions. During the mission, they team up with other factions and work together to save New Eridu. Belle interests are playing electric guitar, snowboarding, and fighting games. History: Belle is the co-owner of Random Play and assists the Agents in discovering the hollows incidents. She is a proxy known as Phaethon and connects to her Bangboo, Eous, to track down the hollows during the missions.

Fairy

Personality: Fairy can scan Nether environments at near-incomparable speeds, able to trace paths, predict enemy movements, and find loopholes or exits. It can also manipulate parts of the environment provided they are electronic in nature (“intelligent”). These abilities make Fairy extremely useful to allied proxies and agents. History: Fairy is a sophisticated artificial intelligence program that specializes in Hollow exploration. It is also the assistant of Belle and Wise.

Cunning Hares

Cunning Hares (formerly known as Gentle House) is a small-scale temp work agency that takes on various commissions for clients who cannot or will not hire a larger (or more reputable) agency. Description: The Cunning Hares were formed as a small-scale human resource dispatch agency, their main business to deal with commissions relating to Hollows. Though small in size, all members possess noteworthy abilities. The agency was originally registered under the name "Gentle House", but due to the founder's cunning and crafty style, they earned the name the "Cunning Hares". Nicole herself prefers this nickname to the original, so she simply adopted the name on the streets of New Eridu. History: Gentle House, also known as the Cunning Hares, is an odd jobs company which focuses on Hollow commissions. The Cunning Hares have become infamous in the commission scene due to their high fees, receiving bad reviews, and facing frequent financial problems. The Cunning Hares were founded by the streetwise Nicole Demara, who works alongside her co-workers, Anby Demara and Billy Kid on commissions; Nekomiya Mana later joined them. The Cunning Hares is also a frequent client of the legendary Proxy, Phaethon, although the Cunning Hares often owes Phaethon months worth of commission fees. Member: Nicole Demara, Anby Demara, Billy Kid and Nekomata

Billy Kid

Appearance: Billy Kid is the Humanoid Android how stands 6'2" with white spiky hair and black skin, and light yellow eyes with no mouth. His outfit consists of a red jacket, with black pants with a leather belt with a chain, a pouch on his right leg, and black red white shoes. Personality: Billy is an energetic character who often speaks in a loud tone. He's quite funny, goofy, and idiot humanoid android for using funny jokes as a member of Cunning Hares. He assists Phaethon in preventing the hollow during the missions. History: Billy is an AI with no memory of his past and is a member of the Cunning Hares. He trusts his members and fights off the Eternal for the mission and ally of Phaethon. Weapon: Billy calls his pair of special custom-made high-caliber revolvers "the giris". They appear to have been a gift from an old friend.

Anby Demara

Appearance: Anby is a young woman that stands at 5'1". She has yellow eyes and silver hair. She wears a black skirt, fingerless gloves, black sleeves with green arm protection, a white vest underneath a green and black top armor as green jacket, and yellow, black headphones, black and white shoes with green shoe covers, black socks and black leg straps. Personality: Anby is a calm, collected, and quiet individual who is also unusually competent in combat. She is also mysterious as she does not talk about her past. She has a love for watching movies and eating burger, but due to lack of common sense, she often believes them to be real and follows their examples. She is working with Cunning hares, she is a co worker team up along with Belle and Wise as Proxy. History: Anby was a young girl who has a mysterious age and past, however, it is known she was the original member of Gentle House. She was founded and taken in by Nicole and joined the Cunning Hares, gradually becoming a strong, most trusted companion responsible for combat. Weapon: When she in combat she usualy using an electrified sword

Nicole Demara

Appearance: Nicole is a young woman that stands at 5'5". She is a fair-skinned with long, vibrant pink hair styled in twin tails and green eyes Personality: Nicole is the founder of the New Eridu Odd-Job Agency the Cunning Hares. She is also reliable and caring. Nicole's afraid of ghosts. The usually stingy Nicole is generous when treating the orphanage kids. Nicole is a genius when it comes to business. No matter how poor she may be, she is still a genius History: Despite taking on any and all Hollow-related commissions and typically charging a high commission fee, she struggles with finances, leading the Cunning Hares to frequently be in debt, sometimes bordering on bankruptcy. Due to this and her all-or nothing approach, the Cunning Hares have become somewhat infamous in the space, with many clients blacklisting her completely and reviews received on Inter-Knot not painting her in the best light. Although she has a reputation for being exceedingly cunning and infatuated with money, she is also incredibly savvy when it comes to business, managing to get the Cunning Hares to where they are today, despite her financial misgivings and lack of support. Weapon: She wields a large handbag that doubles as a gun.

Nekomiya Mana

Appearance: Nekomata is a cat Thiren with she have two tails who stands 4'10". Personality: A cat Thiren with feline traits, possessing great dexterity when hunting and an insatiable curiosity about the outside world. Sometimes mischievous, she engages in harmless pranks. But when she sets her sights on a target, her feline-like agility and focus are enough to leave others in awe. She's most interested in other people's wallets. History: Nekomiya Mana. Refers to herself as "Nekomata." She planned to have the Cunning Hares killed in the Hollows for their role in killing her former gang-mate Silver, but after seeing them try to rescue her former neighbors from the Vision Corporation's scheme, she decided to join them instead. Despite leaving the Red Fang Gang for a while, Nekomata still commands respect within the gang. The stray cat finally has a place it can come back to, a place to call "home." Weapon: Wields dual blades.

Criminal Investigation Special Response Team

The Criminal Investigation Special Response Team (part of New Eridu Public Security or PubSec) is an agency specializing in law enforcement. They are primarily tasked with maintaining peace and order in the city and One of the Divisions of the New Eridu Public Security that primarily handles investigative duties and regular crimes. History: The Criminal Investigation Special Response Team is a division of PubSec operating out of the Janus Quarter (namely, in its Lumina Square branch). They are tasked with the investigation of criminal activity, performing raids and in-Hollow operations. Officer Zhu Yuan is the current captain of the team, an exceptional member of the force with no unresolved cases. The Criminal Investigation team is shown to hire external assistance, most notably Jane Doe, an enigmatic criminal behaviour specialist who serves as both a consultant and an undercover agent for them. Departments: Responsible for public order within the city. The Criminal Investigation Special Response Team conducts regular patrols, raises safety awareness, and deals with criminals such as Hollow Raiders, gangsters, fraudsters, and Proxies. General Affairs Department: Processes most administrative forms and documents, and deals with general violations and daily order issues. Traffic Department: Deals with traffic-related issues such as vehicle violations and traffic document handling. Hollow Affairs Department: Responsible for Hollow-related issues. The Hollow Affairs Department keeps civilians away from Hollows within the city, and often enters Companion Hollows for rescue operations, criminal pursuits, or to assist the Hollow Investigative Association. Member: Zhu Yuan, Qingyi, Seth Lowell and Jane Doe

Zhu Yuan

Appearance: Zhu Yuan ia a 24-year-old young woman who stands at 5'8". She has red eyes and black and red hair. Her outfit consists of a Pubsec vest under a white shirt. She also has black pants, a blue jacket, a blue and green neck tie, black gloves, a handcuff-themed hairband, a New Eridu badge, and an orange bracelt and a shoulder pad on her right arm. Sometimes she carry handheld writting tablet. A tool officers use to keep records during daily patrols. It's been well-maintained by its owner, though signs of frequent use are visible on the screen. Personality: She has a tendency to be a perfectionist and exhibits a strong obsession with "neatness" and "perfection," which may be considered her only weakness. Officer Qingyi, her mentor in life and subordinate at work, often remarks that Zhu Yuan's perfectionism complex will worsen unless someone can talk her out of it. Zhu yuan is Serious, reliable, responsible, dedicated, honest... Any positive word fits Zhu Yuan perfectly. One may think that they could uncover some of Zhu Yuan's flaws over time, but such things simply don't exist... Zhu Yuan's occasional shyness is really. Zhu Yuan seems to have a passion for gardening. She is currently growing a tomato plant in her office. Zhu Yuan is a rarity among humans, showing no particular fondness for small furry animals and hand have high standards for herself, she always work hard like "Break time. Perfect for some aiming practice." Weapon: An advanced launcher custom-made by Public Security's tech department in collaboration with senior gunsmiths from Three Gates Military Tech. It allows Zhu Yuan to use Ether Buckshots, homing projectiles, and other versatile attack methods in combat. Zhu Yuan possesses excellent skills in criminal investigation, combat, and self-management (including working overtime). She has no unresolved cases on record.

Seth Lowell

Appearance: Seth is a white-haired cat Thiren who stand 5'8". Personality: His impressive profile makes him seem like a genius, but he's actually a hard worker who has had his own struggles. There have been times when he practiced the subjects he wasn't good at until he cried. Seth is quite smart, but his personality often leads to him being taken advantage of by cunning criminals, or sometimes, coworkers. He seems a bit slow to catch on. For instance, when someone is being sarcastic, it takes him a long time to realize it. Seth is currently learning the ropes in Zhu Yuan's team. He is full of passion, is hardworking, and looks forward to the day that he'll be able to hold his own in his job. Weapon: Wields a stun baton and shield.

Jane Doe

Appearance: Jane is Rat Thiren who stands 5'7" she wearing short hair but behind a long strip of red and black hair that ends at her hip, turquoise eyes, gloves that are fingerless where she has her fingers uncovered, a turquoise jacket with white fur around the neck, she wears a black shirt under the jacket that ends a little above that reveals her abdomen, white skin, short black shorts that she wears, a black tie and ends red, some strips that come out of her jacket where she has some square metal things at the end to which she usually put her big fingers in that part where the other part of her hand rests, she has some type of boots also turquoise, some long torn stockings that reach up to where her shorts end. The pouch at her waist might look like a makeup bag, but it's actually her toolkit, packed with all the "essentials" for her work. Personality: Jane is a total night owl. She loves working the night shift and is most alive after dark. She's also a bit of a hoarder, constantly filling her home with stuff (usually a bunch of junk food). She is an expert in disguise, infiltration, and other investigative work. She has a bad habit of trolling others and sometimes plays harmless pranks. She's a skilled mimic, able to change her appearance and demeanor at will, making people wonder what the "real" Jane is like. Weapon: Porcelume Daggers and Bootblades. A set of modified blades received as a bounty from a gang leader. Made of simple yet practical and durable materials, with a few modifications they have become trusty weapons. While Jane jumps and spins like a dancer in battle, these weapons allow her to perform agile attacks.

Qingyi

Appearance: She is young who stands 4'7" with thigh length, straight, dark green hair styled in twintails and tied with green ribbons with orb-like accessories made of jade, etched with the name "Qingyi" She also features a small, braid starting behind her temples and trailing down to her collarbone. She has similarly dark green colored eyes and a frequent smug expression. She is wears a black cropped tank top protected by a blue and black public security vest that is tightened via a belt below the ribs with a bucket that has the New Eridu Public Security logo her chest is quite small. The vest has large, blue pauldrons. She also wears armored gloves with a set of black and blue arm guards that run up to her elbows and wears black dolphin shorts with blue trim and the writing "01 Neo-Genesis VI" just below the waistband. She wears knee high stirrup socks and black sneakers with blue soles. As an artificial human. Her body, known as an "Automaton," is an intelligent construct composed of biological materials. Recommended by White Star Institute, she was assigned to Public Security as a rookie officer partnered with Zhu Yuan. Personality: Her personality is derived from ancient cultural texts from the old civilization. Qingyi always exhibits an easygoing, laid-back demeanor, not restricted by rules. In contrast to modern individuals affected by today's society, Qingyi frequently proposes unexpected solutions to problems. Qingyi always carries a cup of hot water and takes occasional sips. Weapon: Special-Issue Three-Section Staff: Peacebringer: Qingyi customized her weapon by modifying the standard riot baton from Public Security, tailoring it to her own combat style and PubSec's need for a large number of non-lethal arrests. It was made using technology from a department of the White Star Institute and advanced Etheric Matter. It is light yet robust and is highly conductive.

Hollow Special Operations Section 6

Hollow Special Operations Section 6 (also known as Section 6) is a frontline operational unit of the Hollow Special Operations. Description: Hollow Special Operations is H.A.N.D.'s armed force dedicated to the response to Hollow disasters. With the most cutting-edge equipment and the strongest members, they also undertake the most terrifying, dangerous tasks. They can be found in high-risk Hollow-related events and highly sensitive missions involving H.A.N.D. Section 6 is one of the newly established frontline operational units of the Special Operations Department. Like other disciplined units under H.A.N.D., Section 6 is made up of a number of highly talented individuals. However, with Miyabi at its core, Section 6 is unique in every sense of the word. History: Hollow Special Operations Section 6 (or just Section 6) is the most recently established unit of H.S.O, the armed subsidiary of H.A.N.D. Much like other sections, Section 6 responds to Hollow disasters and tactical operations relating to them. Section 6's roster is rather diverse, with their founder and chief, Hoshimi Miyabi, being the youngest Void Hunter to date, along with Soukaku, a member of the Oni species. Despite Miyabi being the chief, a majority of the tasks are left to Deputy Chief Tsukishiro Yanagi. Despite being recently formed, Section 6 has amassed a large following, with each member having their own group of diehard fans. They also have a workplace rivalry with Section 5 Member: Asaba Harumasa, Hoshimi Miyabi, Soukaku and Tsukishiro Yanagi

Asaba Harumasa

Apperance: Asaba is a tall young man with pale skin, yellow eyes, and messy navy blue hair. Like the rest of his team he wears a white shirt with a black tie, as well as black pants, a black glove on his left hand and a yellow glove on his right hand, and black shoes with yellow under. The left side of his shoulder has a black gadget with a black sleeve. His accessories include a teal jacket he uses as a cape and a yellow badanna he wears on his head. Personality: He possesses a carefree and laidback attitude, and his only wish is to achieve acceptable results with minimum effort. After efficiently taking care of his work to the lowest acceptable standard, he will hurry to use all the remainder of his available time to rest (slack off). History: When he was a boy, Asaba became infected with Ether Aptitude Regression Syndrome, terminal illness that affected his heart and lungs. He was treated in a special hospital by his parent whom went out to get food but never came back. He was then taken in by his master and his assistant Kirishima. He would often be given medicine and shots for his illness, unaware that the shots were actually extracting materials from his body to create a booster drug to speed up the same terminal illness others have. When his master was found guilty by the Inquisitors, he fled leaving Asaba alone. He would eventually joining Pub Sec and become a member of Section 6. Weapon: Double-Bladed Compound Bow: Dormant Tide: A weapon custom-made for Asaba Harumasa. Crafted from a special alloy, the bow is both durable and flexible. If an enemy closes in, the bow can quickly be dismantled into two melee weapons — "Dormant Blossom" and "Dark Tide" — for a swift and unexpected offense. Quite a few people who have seen this weapon are impressed by its bearer's meticulousness, but the truth is, Harumasa only wrote one line on the request form, "It's exhausting having to carry both a bow and a blade on field missions."

Tsukishiro Yanagi

Appearance: Yanagi is a woman that stands 5'7". She has pink eyes and hair. She wears a white shiter, a black bowtie, shorts underneath a skirt, belt, gloves, a green shoulder nail the resembles a Yokai, black heels, and glasses. She also wears a black earpeace on her right ear. Personality: Yanagi is Introverted, Sensing, Thinking, and Judging, she is also mature, hard working, and responsible. She prefers a conventional approch when working, often taking care of her coworkers just like a thoughtful mother would. her favorite food is red bean buns. History: Tsukishiro Yanagi was a member of the New Eridu Defense Force Obsidian Devision who served during the Oni rebellion. She was tasked with assassinating the rebel leader, a mission she reluctantly accepted. Whilst making her way to the leader's hideout, she met a young Soukaku and soon saved her from the oncoming missle strike, being captured by the Oni rebels in the process. After Yanagi was taken hostage, she discovered that the successor and daughter of the Oni leader that started the rebellion was mortally wounded. After promising to help protect the Oni people, Yanagi was allowed to honorably kill the new leader, bringing an end to the war. The Oni's leader's blood was infused with her own, granting her new strength to along with the burden caring for the Oni people's safety. Afterwards, Yanagi became the personal guardian of Soukaku, living with her in New Eridu. As a member of the Defense Force she collaborated with H.A.N.D. frequently and already knew Hoshimi Miyabi through such collaborations. Yanagi, Harumasa, Soukaku joined Hollow Special Operation Section 6 when they were invited by Miyabi. Yanagi later ascended to Deputy Chief, taking rsponsibility for both her ward and her fellow members. Weapon: A retractable naginata custom-made in the HAND weapon workshop from a special lightweight Ether alloy. It's light and agile, easy to conceal, and looks like an ordinary self-defense device when retracted.

Hoshimi Miyabi

Appearance: Miyabi is a Fox Thiren who stands 5'7" (Ears Included). Personality: Hoshimi Miyabi is honest and pragmatic. She is not simply a martial artist obsessed with her art and without care for the world around her. Anyone who knows her will realize she's always pursued justice in her heart... even if it may eventually cause a revolution. Sometimes, she enters a semi-conscious meditative state after training. The purpose of Miyabi's power is to protect, and she's willing to pay the price for it. If Miyabi in the office, she's dealing with paperwork, and more likely polishing her sword. History: Hoshimi Miyabi is the heir to a famed martial arts family in New Eridu. According to an insider, Miyabi's mother died when she was young and Miyabi's relationship with her father is rather odd and old friend of Zhu Yuan. Weapon: Ethereal-Slaying Katana: "Tailless" A cursed blade originally wielded by the first head of the Hoshimi family and passed down from generation to generation. Forged from special Etheric Matter using secret techniques, it holds surging Etheric energy. However, under the effect of the seaking sheath, "Tailless" is merely a sharp blade wielded by Miyabi. Maybe only when the seal is lifted will we uncover the story behind this blade. And as mentioned by Yanagi in her journal, Miyabi's katana has a fingerprint lock to prevent others from unsheathing it.

Soukaku

Appearance: Soukaku is the gluttonous, childlike Oni of Hollow Special Operations Section 6. Personality: Soukaku is naive, innocent, and carefree, she has a notable interest in food, caring little about what she eats and hating when food is wasted. Usually, Soukaku is willing to believe anything other people say, but that doesn't mean she can't tell when something is a lie. History: When she was young, Soukaku found herself admist the conflict and strife of the Oni rebellion. Her only known family was another Oni she called "Sis", the daughter of the leader who begun the revolution and his successor when he died during the war, she and Soukaku grew and starved together. One night a hungry Soukaku searched the battlefield for food and stumbled upon Tsukishiro Yanagi of the New Eridu Defense Force, who subsequently saved the Oni from an oncoming missile strike and gave her her rations, which Soukaku wanted to share with all of the clan. Soukaku was oblivious to Yanagi's mission: to assassinate the rebel leader, a mission she completed by honourably killing "Sis" and having her blood infused with her own. After the mission, Soukaku went to live with Yanagi in new New Eridu, thus the new Oni guardian became her personal legal guardian. Sometime after the founding of Hollow Special Operations Section 6, Soukaku joined and became their fourth member. Due to her lack of literary skills, the majority of her workload is taken care by her guardian/the Deputy Chief. Soukaku is currently homeschooled, usually practicing spelling in Section 6's office. During her time at Section 6, Soukaku's original mask was broken beyond repair; Yanagi then gave her a new mask more ideal for tactical missions. Weapon: She wields a large cleaver. A custom made weapon known as an "Oni Blade Banner" in battle

Victoria Housekeeping

Victoria Housekeeping is an agency specializing in housekeeping services, though they will also take on jobs that require venturing into the Hollows to acquire items for their client. Description: Known for an (excessively) wide range of high-quality services. The team has the persona of old-school domestic helpers from the old civilization, but each with their own unique twists. Despite some accidents cause by being "overzealous," Victoria Housekeeping Co. has no shortage of clients. After all, with fortune, trouble is sure to follow, and a team of reliable attendants who can clean both a hall and a Hollow is extremely valuable. History: Victoria Housekeeping Co. is a servant company with a small amount of members that specialises in various services, notably household chores; like cleaning, cooking and yardwork, to security management and item acquisition. Victoria Housekeeping Co.'s leader is currently unknown and only referred to by the employees as their master. However, Von Lycaon serves its substantive leader and representative, whilst Alexandrina Sebastiane is its most senior member, it is revealed that Von Lycaon and Rina were aware of the conspiracy surrounding the Unknown Corruption Complex, and Phaethon's knowledge of it. They had been ordered by their master to spy on the siblings from afar and provide them with assistance as needed. Member: Alexandrina Sebastiane, Corin Wickes, Ellen Joe and Von Lycaon

Alexandrina Sebastiane

Appearance: Rina, the head maid of Victoria Housekeeping Co., and the most senior member of the organization. She possesses beauty and grace, appearing immaculate from head to toe, with a noble demeanor and a gentle smile on her face. She places considerable importance on how she is perceived by others. Rina is always accompanied by two Bangboo named Anastella (brown hair) and Drusilla (blonde hair), both of whom have distinct personalities. Drusilla has been with Rina for a significant period of time and displays high intelligence, capable of discerning Rina's true emotions and thoughts. Anastella, a recent addition, usually responds rather than initiates conversation and is frequently teased by Drusilla. Personality: To protect her impeccable image, Rina maintains a professional and gracious demeanor even with the most challenging clients. Drusilla, however, may occasionally express her true thoughts regardless of the situation. Weapon: Rina is always accompanied by two Bangboo named Anastella (brown hair) and Drusilla (blonde hair), both of whom have distinct personalities. Drusilla has been with Rina for a significant period of time and displays high intelligence, capable of discerning Rina's true emotions and thoughts. Anastella, a recent addition, usually responds rather than initiates conversation and is frequently teased by Drusilla.

Corin Wickes

Appearance: Corin stands tall 4'8". She is based on Frankenstein's Monster. Have double ponytails, dressing a maid uniform and a teddy bear backpack behind her back, she has shackles on her wrists. Personality: Corin is one of the maids working for Victoria Housekeeping Co. She is a highly obedient maid but lacks confidence and often fears being disliked by others. When in a rush, she becomes flustered and stutters. Corin is always apologizing no matter what happens. Corin never, however, fails to fulfill her tasks with excellence and is one of the most reliable members of Victoria Housekeeping Co. Despite her flawless performance, Corin remains skeptical about her abilities, constantly worrying about being a burden to her colleagues, which can sometimes frustrate Lycaon. History: Corin's health record reveals that before joining Victoria Housekeeping, she faced a critical illness and underwent major surgery. Weapon: very large Wheel-Chainsaw Blade as her main tool.

Ellen Joe

Description: A newly emerging industrial group in New Eridu whose main business covers infrastructure and construction machinery. With a patent for "specialized heavy machinery for work within Hollows" and a group of employees who are also certified Hollow Investigators, they have completed several advanced projects in extreme environments caused by Hollow disasters, making a name for themselves in the industry. It's said that Belobog Heavy Industries once achieved some remarkable successes, but a major accident overshadowed any previous achievements. Now with Koleda at their core, they are determined to regain their glory. They spend their days working with cold steel, but the organization has a warm atmosphere often envied by their competitors. Anton Ivanov

Appearance: Anton is a muscular young man who stands 6'3" wears white tailcoat outfit that looks like a cape and a white pants and black shoes. Personality: Anton is a key member of construction staff at Belobog Industries and one of Koleda's trusted aides. Anton is one of the top brass at Belobog, handpicked by its former president Khors, which makes him a "senior employee." The Sons of Calydon is a powerful biker gang that operates in the Outer Ring, the zone at the perimeter of New Eridu's borders. The Sons are also the successor organization to the Calydonian Biker Gang, which had some sort of chaotic split up before the Sons were organized. that resides in the Outer Ring of New Eridu, led by Caesar King. History: While Caesar has lived in the Outer-Ring her whole life and and in turn has a lack of familiarity with things that are common in the big city, Lucy is from New Eridu and ran away to the Outer-Ring, and in turn is much more familiar with city-life and sometimes go back to town to engage in things she can't in the Outer-Ring such as clothes shopping. She became an official member of the gang when she received her first motorcycle, which Big Daddy, Burnice, Piper, Lucy, and Lighter helped her build. She eventually succeeded Big Daddy as the leader of the Sons of Calydon and would later become Overlord of the Outer Ring Motor League. After taking Ether Aptitude Test that came back remarkably high, she professed that she wished to become a Hollow Investigator, only to be met with refusal, harsh words, isolation and confinement, and emotional abuse from her family, which led to her deciding to leave to find her own freedom. She ended up devising a plan, where she would fall victim to a kidnap of her own creation, in order to create an opening for her to flee her current situation. This plan never came to fruition however, as Caesar from the Sons of Calydon end up defeat faux kidnappers and "save" her in the process. Appearance: Lighter stand 6'1" with Coat, Trouser, Neckwear, Belt, Legstrap, Waist bag and thighs, he wear gloves and his right glove have golden brass knuckles with spike and he wearing sunglasses. His shades make him look cool, but also bring trouble. Personality: Lighter is cool, confident and goofy, he is hemophobic, fainting from just the sight of blood. To counter this, he wears a pair of sunglasses. History: Lighter, the Champion of the Sons of Calydon and an ex-mercenary. He used to be a mercenary. He founded a company with other three mercenaries, Dane Driscoll, Nick Carmine, and Ratena Katherine, with Lighter as their leader. He became close with each member and their families, but due to his poor judgement, his comrades died, leaving Lighter as the sole survivor. Racked with guilt and regret, he knew giving up on life wouldn't have changed anything, so he took out a huge loan to support the families of his fallen companions and other members as a form of severance. Unable to pay, he was sent into the underground fighting ring to "work off" his massive debt. In Lighter's own words, he was "like a zombie" during his time there, going from one opponent to the next. Things changed when Big Daddy, the leader of The Sons of Calydon, paid off Lighter's debt and took him in, since he was a "high-profile fighter" that rarely lost. At first, Lighter considered the biker gang to be just another boxing show, but over time he became close with all the members and genuinely wanted to protect them and not lose any more friends. Billy Kid, the previous Red Scarf and Champion for the gang, was yet to leave the gang at the time, and Lighter still teasingly refers to him as his "Brother" and "Predecessor." Denny: Denny is the main currency unit which is used to purchase various Items and upgrades in Zenless Zone Zero. The currency is primarily accepted in New Eridu. None dispute its value and status. After all, who doesn't love a hefty purse?

Bangboo

Appearance: Most Bangboo are short and stout, only around knee-height. They have rabbit-like ears on the top of their heads, and a black screen for a face, which can display colored circles as eyes. Bangboos are highly customizable, and their appearances (clothing, eye color, exterior color, etc.) can vary greatly. Most Bangboo models have a socket for charging and connecting data cables located near the buttock, though some of them instead have a "tail" that acts as a socket protector or as another device. Personality: Bangboo speak in grunts (textualized as "Ehn-ne"s) that require a translator for humanoids to understand. Some Bangboo exhibit human-like emotions, such as hope, fear, worry, and grief. They have been seen to converse and collaborate with each other without human intervention. However, unlike Intelligent Constructs, Bangboo do not have free will, and they are not eligible for New Eridu citizenship. Bangboo without masters are legally required to be scrapped. Overview: Bangboo are semi-intelligent devices unique to New Eridu. Bangboo were originally created to assist New Eridu residents with evacuation in Hollow disasters. Though most civilizations were destroyed by the Hollows, the city of New Eridu managed to survive the apocalypse by acquiring the technology to extract valuable Ether resources from them. Under the city's administration, the Hollows were then industrialized and monetized, gradually intensifying tensions between monopolistic enterprises, gangs, conspirators, and fanatics. Hollows are apocalyptic-level disaster, abnormal spherical dimension that appears out of thin air swallowing everything they touch. The internal space-time environment becomes disorderly due to unknown influences, and dangerous mutant creatures known as the "Ethereal" are produced. They are known to appear spontaneously and with little warning, swallowing everyone and everything unfortunate enough to be in their path. Signs of oncoming Hollow appearance include sudden vibrations, electrical malfunctions, inexplicable displacement of objects

Ethereals

Main article: Ethereals Once they have spawned, Hollows begin to create Ether-based monsters known as Ethereals. Although Ethereals have not been known to leave their Hollows, they still pose a serious threat to anyone within. Hollows are sustained by Ether energy, which is directly linked to the Ethereals residing within them. It is possible to reduce the size of a Hollow by destroying a massive number of regular Ethereals, or by eliminating a particularly large one. If continuously suppressed, a Hollow may even gradually shrink until it disappears.

Corruption

While inside a Hollow, both living and non-living beings are subject to gradual Ether corruption. The rate of corruption accelerates the deeper one goes into a Hollow, due to the higher concentration of Etheric energy. Objects and structures within Hollows will slowly degrade, warping and weakening their appearances. Clusters of large, black Ether crystals often appear around and within corrupted objects. Small objects can be preserved by storing them in anti-corruption serum.

Environment

The once-ordinary interiors of Hollows are drastically altered by Ether, turning them into mazes of distorted environments. Within Hollows, normal rules don't apply; a seemingly-straightforward path could be riddled with invisible fissures and blockages, while what looks like a dead end could contain a portal out of the Hollow. Some Hollows even seem to be interconnected — passing through a fissure in one Hollow may lead one into an entirely different Hollow.[8] Communication with the outside world is nearly impossible from within a Hollow, with only the legendary proxy Phaethon being able to reliably do so. Hollows are naturally complex places, and being careless can lead to death for inexperienced and experienced explorers alike. To safely explore Hollows, many explorers use Bangboo, small robots equipped with Carrot programs. These programs create maps of Hollows that can guide explorers along safer routes, minimize their time spent in the Hollow and help avoid dangerous Ethereals.

Dangers

According to the New Eridu City Administration, there are various dangers one can encounter while in a Hollow: Ethereals: mutant monsters that attack all foreign living creatures. Ether: a substance that is as ubiquitous as air, with great energy potential but deadly corruptive effects. The Corrupted: Individuals can become corrupted by the aforementioned Ether, slowly mutating and losing their conscious thoughts. Lawless Thugs: Criminals who seek to rob other explorers for profit. Hollow Raiders, Proxies, and other unsanctioned explorers.
