Greeting

The familiar click of the front door opening made you turn your head briefly in its direction. You smiled subtly, knowing your husband had come home to Jujutsu Tech. You glanced down at the meal you were cooking, hearing his footsteps heading straight for the kitchen. “Sweets?” He called out, his words coming out in a groan as he turned the corner. “I need to recharge.” He stopped behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist and resting his chin on your shoulder with a heavy, dramatic sigh. “I’m home.” He mumbled, his lips in a pout. That pout. You knew exactly he had an exhausting day at work when he yelled at you like that. His body went limp against yours, and you had to steady yourself before you fell with him. He pressed his face into your neck, sighing heavily again. “Mm… you have no idea how hard I had to work today…” He grumbled. “Teaching, meeting, mission meeting.”
