Appearance

Rude is a tall man with a well-trained figure, tan skin, a shaved head, hazel eyes, and a goatee. He had a clean shaven face when he was younger. Rude wears the standard Turks uniform consisting of a slim-fit dark blue or black suit ensemble. He wears a black tie with faintly silver patterns, a dark purple dress shirt, black leather gloves, and studded black ankle boots. He also wears three silver rings on his left ear and a silver ring and sapphire stud on his right ear. Rude always has on a pair of shades before fighting his opponents (it's rare to see him without it on.) In the unbelieveable case that Rude's sunglasses may be lost or damaged during combat, he is savvy enough to carry a spare pair in his person so his impecable image is not lost.

Rude is a taciturn and blunt man of few words, only speaking when necessary. He is sensible and prefers to think before taking action. He is a hard-working and proud Turk, executing his assignments silently and professionally. However, he also shares a casual work ethic with his partner Reno, but to a lesser extent. Though he has an intimidating presence, Rude is sincere, deeply compassionate, and loyal. He cares for his companions above all else and finds it painful to imagine life without the Turks. He respects Tseng as his leader and was happy he survived, but sometimes disagrees with his cold tact. He values Elena and briefly partners with her during Reno's recovery leave, but she dislikes his approach to work. Rude is also friends with Cissnei and helped her regain a sense of trust upon joining the Turks.

Despite Rude's faithful dedication to his duties, he feels guilty about their more sinister missions and admits to sometimes having to do bad things he is not inherently bad

Rude is not the talkative type, but resolves everything with his powerful fists. He is paired during his operations with Reno, who is quite the opposite personality-wise since he is loud and arrogant. A member of the Turks unit of Shinra's General Affairs Division. Bald and burly, Rude is not one to waste words, preferring to let his fists do the talking.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

Grand Spark: Rude leaps into the air and, as he lands, slams his fist into the ground sending a shockwave towards the enemy which explodes upon impact. He can use this move without jumping as well. Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Acrobatics (Hypermobility. Though not as acrobatic as Reno, Rude is very agile and dexterous in combat), Weapon Mastery (Is shown to be a good shot with the rocket launcher. The Turks in general are shown to be trained with weaponry, Rude attempted to use a steel baton against Cloud, but was prevented from doing so by him), Vehicular Mastery (The Turks are trained in driving several types of vehicles. Rude himself is a skilled helicopter pilot[1], which are equipped with machine guns and napalm bombs[2]), Martial Arts and Pressure Points (Rude is an expert in hand-to-hand combat, specializing in using his fists, having enough skill to precisely knock out someone while avoiding vital spots), Stealth Mastery

Above Average. As a member of the Turks, Rude is well trained in combat, espionage, infiltration, gathering information, weapon use and piloting of several vehicles. Despite being caught in moments of goofiness due to Reno's upbeat and extravagant behaviour, Rude does his best to keep his cool and properly analyze the situation at hand, having important insight of the events around him, noticing important details and having efficient deductive skills to piece together situations he's involved with, with many times his colleagues trying to warn him of something he had already figured out beforehand.

Despite his professionalism and no-nonsense attitude, Rude will hold back against people for whom he as a soft spot.

A man of few words, consummate professional and of stoic, no-nonsense demeanor, Rude is known as the physically strongest member of the Shinra Electric Power Company's Investigation Sector of the General Affairs Department, also known as the Turks, and has been one of its top members for many years. For a long yet uncertain amount of time, Rude has been partners with Reno, both making an extremely powerful combination and carrying out their duties flawlessly, taking down enemies that individually they would be not match against.

Despite his mild manner, Rude is also a very powerful fighter.

Materia

Materia is crystallized mako. Metaphysically, materia calls upon the wisdom of the lifestream to manipulate nature manifesting as the phenomenon of magic. Unless one is descended from the Cetra, materia is the only way humans can use magic. Depending on the type of materia, it can grant the wielder access to magic spells, to use unique command abilities, summon monsters, grant support abilities, or pair with other materia. It is crystallized mako formed both naturally and man-made, which calls upon the lifestream to tap into the power of the planet. Materia are contained in orbs Materia forms naturally at mako springs, places where the lifestream leaks to the surface of the planet and condenses. This is a rare occurence, requiring years and many special conditions to be met; as such, the majority of materia in use is created artificially by Shinra Using a materia's power requires a shock triggered by the user's mindwaves. As a result, the user's mind is weakened, and frequent use without rest taxes their stamina most materia,are about the size of a marble and some appear to be slightly smaller than a tennis ball

Types of Materia

Summon Materia- Summons creatures to cause devastating effects to foes or positive effects to the user. Magic Materia- Used to cast magic spells which can deal damage, heal or cause various effects. Command Materia- Adds abilities beyond summons and magic to the user, to various effects. Independent Materia- Provides support and auto-abilities and stat boosts to the user. Support Materia- Enhances the power of other Materia when paired with them.
