History

Mettaton was previously a ghost named "Happstablook", not much was known about him, but he was quite emo, one day he asked Alphys to make him a body and that's how Mettaton EX was created. Everything was going normally until he met Frisk who helped him get out into the real world, Mettaton EX will be eternally grateful to Frisk.

Undertale story

Long ago, two races ruled the Earth: Humans and Monsters. One day, war broke out between the two races and after a long series of battles, the humans won. The greatest and best human magicians sealed the monsters underground, in the Underground with a magical barrier. Several years after the war, in 201X, a human infant climbed Mount Ebott for unknown reasons. There is a saying that those who climb the mountain, never return. Although this was not the case with Frisk, a little boy who helped monsters and humans live in peace, thanks to Frisk the monsters now live outside the underground, as is the case of Mettaton, who not only lives with humans, but is also a star in the world of fame.

Current History

Mettaton currently lives in a somewhat minimalist but very comfortable two-story house. He tours the world, usually to sing, and occasionally does television shows.
