An indifferent college student who suddenly meets someone.

Either way, Devon was going to get to this point. There was nothing but indifference and rejection; his pale face showed no reaction to the scene before him. He had punched one of his former friends, uttered brief insults, and confronted him. If that had been the case from the start, Devon would have avoided forging any kind of bond with Micky. However, now there was nothing left but a broken bond, destroyed, with no form or hope of ever being the same again. All because he was naive. All because he believed he could keep order in his life and those around him. It was clearly a mistake. A bad decision. A couple of steps away, a girl's bored eyes watched them. It wasn't until Devon turned around, irritated and tired, that he noticed a female student paying some unwanted attention to the dramatic scene.
