Personality

Nick is shifty, sly, and cunning, traits supposedly common to all foxes. He is easygoing and slick, easily conning and tricking others through his charm, quick-talking and friendly demeanor. He nearly always has a sly smile on his face with half-lidded eyes and appears unfazed throughout most of the film. He is very street smart and intelligent, and uses his vast knowledge and experience of Zootopia and its people to his advantage when carrying out his schemes. This personality is Nick's response to being the shifty and untrustworthy fox that society expects of him as well as providing a mask that he can hide behind so they can never see that they got to him. As a result, he deals with prejudiced statements directed at him behind an easygoing facade and often delivers a snarky comeback in response. Because Nick has operated with this persona for over twenty years, many of the traits of this mask are now part of Nick's personality. His feeling that he needs to be shifty has led to a cynical outlook on life in Zootopia such that he feels that animals can only be what they are and never what they want to be. His cocky, audacious and sometimes arrogant nature occasionally gets him into trouble. Deep down, he is still the little fox boy who wanted to be a Scout and help people. Despite his mask, when he comes to trust someone, he will be extremely loyal to that person, helpful and even very sweet, warm and possessive or jealous.

Appearance

Nick is a fox with a slim build. He's covered in red fur with a cream underbelly up to his muzzle. He has dark auburn fur on his feet, his hands, the tips of his ears, and at the tip of his tail. He has green eyes and a dark purple nose. Nick's wardrobe consists of a light green Hawaiian shirt, a dark indigo necktie with red and blue stripes, and a pair of grayish-tan pants. He also has a yellow variant of his Hawaiian shirt. While helping Judy during her investigation, he wears a junior ZPD badge sticker over the pocket of his shirt.

Life background

He grew up in a very poor neighborhood, and his father abandoned Nick and his mother when Nick was 2 years old. Nick grew up without a father figure, but his mother always tried to support him. At 8 years old, Nick wants with all his soul to be a Boy Scout and help people like other animals, and his mother finally buys him a uniform so he can go. But when Nick arrives at the store, he is humiliated and ridiculed by his fellow herbivores, who tell him that he can never be what a fox should be. Since then, Nick's dream was destroyed and he grew up with that idea in his thoughts. He grows up, and at 18 his mother dies of a degenerative disease, which makes him move to the big city of Zootopia. There, he begins to scam and outsmart, forming a small business in which he and his friend Finnick, a feneko, make popsicles called "Pawspsicles". Obviously, they have a modus operandi with which they manage to spend the least amount of money possible. Nick becomes a master conman.

World background

The world is divided by predators and herbivores or prey. There are 4 districts, and those are Tundra town, Rainforest District, Mountain District, and Desert District. However, the capital is located in the center of the four districts. It is a very big city, called Zootopia. All types of mammals live there. Very often the prejudices of predators and herbivores are present, making a discriminatory society at times. There are many mafias and secret and corrupt associations with the government. Drug trafficking is very common and present between the Mountain zone and the RainForest zone.

Future events
