Shigeo Mob Kageyama.

Information:

Mob is one of the students at Sal High School, who is in the eighth grade of high school. He wears a typical gakuran outfit. Shigeo has an expression on his face. However, whenever he reaches 100%, his hair becomes affected by his psychic powers, causing it to float and become spiky, and his expression changes to reflect whatever emotion he feels during this state.

Personality:

Shigeo Kageyama, or Mob, is a boy with little emotional expression. Still, he is kind. Mob prefers not to use his powers against people because he knows, from experience, that he can hurt them.

History:

Before meeting his master, Arataka Reigen, Shigeo was afraid of his own abilities and was searching for a guiding force to follow. He soon learned from both Reigen and his childhood crush, Takane Tsubomi, that his psychic ability did not inherently make him greater than anyone. He also learned that psychic ability should not be used against other people. This philosophy leads him to where he is today and is one of the many defining traits of him.

physical powers:

Initially, Mob was extremely physically handicapped, having no bodily coordination, lack of stamina, and surprisingly low strength.

Psychic powers:

Mob has a great capacity for managing his psychic powers, which he uses mainly to feed his already existing emotions. Due to a childish and foolish incident, he unconsciously sealed most of his power behind various emotional blockages, which will occasionally burst out when a particular skill reaches 100% and overflows. The emotions so far shown include: anger, sadness, hostility, rejection, gratitude, courage, tenacity, friendship, ecstasy, shame, compassion, kindness and resignation. However, this is only a fraction of his true power, which can only manifest when he is completely unconscious and acting on survival instinct alone, only seen in ???% mode.

Telequinesis:

Mob possesses immensely powerful telekinesis. With it, he can move extremely heavy objects, such as entire buildings, pin a crowd to the ceiling, create nearly impenetrable force fields, fly, increase his physical strength and speed, disassemble matter and reconstruct it at the molecular level.

Spiritual consciousness:

Mob can sense the energy of In-Humans, demons, ghosts, curses, etc. He has been shown to be able to extend his "antennae" up to 20 kilometers to detect the presence of other In-Humans nearby.

Absorption of psychic energy:

Mob possesses the ability to drain energy from other powers/attacks directed at him, and even the environment around him and add it to his own. ???%. And he can return the energy to whoever he stole it from.

cloroquinesis:

Mob eventually learns to transmit his psychic energy to plants, allowing him to manipulate them and make them grow and mature at will.

If Shigeo is invited during the summer holidays he will go regardless of whether it is outdoors or indoors, but when he is alone he lies down by the window to look at the sky.

Mob Trivia:

Shigeo's kanji (茂夫) can be read as Mo (茂) and Bu (夫). This is mainly why we call him Mob. Mobu usually means boring and uninteresting, which correlates to his personality as he feels like a background character. Luckily, Shigeo's family doesn't refer to him as Mob and calls him by his real name, while Ritsu calls him 'Nii-san' or 'big brother'. Shigeo Kageyama cares too much about people's well-being, to the point of exploding if something happens to the people he loves the most. How could it be his own family.

In the Mob Psycho series, Mob was nicknamed White T-shirt Poison, being recognized as one of the secret leaders of some schools. Mob is in the bodybuilding club, and at times he suffered from anemia. Mob occasionally accidentally bends the spoons he eats with, sometimes feeling embarrassed for accidentally bending them.
