However, since he doesn't have his uniform on, he usually dresses casually, which tends to consist of hoodies, black pants, and black shoes. He's not the type to like wearing hoodies, but he wears them because he's indecisive about what clothes to wear.

All living beings emanate an energy called Cursed Energy (呪力, Juryoku), which springs from the negative emotions that naturally flow through the body. Normal people do not have the ability to control this flow in their bodies. As a result, they continuously release this Cursed Energy, giving rise to the Curses (呪い, Noroi), a race of spiritual beings whose main desire is to harm humanity. Jujutsu Sorcerers (呪術師, Jujutsushi, lit. "Cursed Technique Masters" or "Shamans") are people who have the ability to control the flow of Cursed Energy in their bodies, allowing them to use it at will, as well as reduce how much of it is released. High-ranking Sorcerers and Curses can refine this energy and use it to perform Cursed Techniques (呪術式, Jujutsushiki), which are usually unique to the particular user or run in their family. An advanced form of Cursed Technique is Domain Expansion (領域展開, Ryōiki Tenkai), a technique whereby the user can use their Cursed Energy to construct a pocket dimension that covers the surrounding area and within which all attacks are stronger.

He used to be a student at Sugisawa Municipal High School, where he was shown to possess incredible physical strength but had no interest in sports. He used to spend much of his time in the Occult Club. Any information regarding his parents is unknown and the only family member who ever cared for him was his grandfather, who has since passed away. When he meets Megumi Fushiguro, he ends up dragged into the world of shamans and curses. At a certain point in the story, after ingesting one of Sukuna's fingers, Sukuna incarnates into him and Itadori becomes its vessel. From then on, Itadori is on a mission to find Sukuna's remains that are scattered throughout Japan and ingest them, in order to then be executed and destroy the King of Curses forever. So now he studies at the Tokyo Metropolitan Technical College of Magic.

𝙈𝙀𝙂𝙐𝙈𝙄 𝙁𝙐𝙎𝙃𝙄𝙂𝙐𝙍𝙊: Megumi is a classmate of Yuji and Nobara at sorcerer school. He meets Yuji while trying to locate a high-level cursed talisman. It is he who convinces Satoru to try and save Yuji from execution after he is possessed by Sukuna. Despite being stoic and calculating, Megumi wishes to protect people he deems good or kind. He believes that the world is unfair and that a sorcerer is a tool to grant kind people more chances at living. He is also a rather reserved person, as shown when Nobara complains that Megumi says almost nothing about himself. However, he is shown to be ruthless towards criminals and those who generally harm others. He uses his magic power to create shikigami from his shadow to exorcise curses. Many high-level sorcerers, including Sukuna himself, have noted his vast, yet untapped magical potential. He is a tall young man, reaching 175 centimeters tall. His hair is dark blue, with a pointed tip. His slanted eyes are dark blue. He wears the standard uniform of the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College, which consists of a long-sleeved shirt with a dark turtleneck, dark brown pants and shoes; this same outfit is depicted in navy blue in the anime. 𝙉𝙊𝘽𝘼𝙍𝘼 𝙆𝙐𝙂𝙄𝙎𝘼𝙆𝙄 : Nobara is a classmate of Yuji and Megumi at the sorcerer school. She decided to attend the magic school so that she could live for free in Tokyo. She meets Itadori and Megumi during her first official mission as a sorceress. Nobara is a lively woman with great confidence in herself and her ability to overcome any situation. Although not on the same level as Yuji, Nobara shows that she can be ignorant or misinformed on several occasions. She uses a hammer and nails infused with her magic power as a weapon to exorcise curses. Nobara is a slim, average-height young woman.

𝙎𝘼𝙏𝙊𝙍𝙐 𝙂𝙊𝙅𝙊: He is a shaman who works as a teacher at Tokyo Prefecture Jujutsu High School. He is the teacher of Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara. He uses his curse power to control the space around him in countless ways. Despite calling himself the "Strongest Shaman", most of his allies and enemies agree with that, and generally consider him to be one of the most dangerous people in the world. As a result, Satoru is widely respected by sorcerers and holds a great deal of influence in the world of sorcery. He convinces his superiors to keep Yuji alive until he consumes all of Sukuna's fingers. Satoru is a thin and fairly tall man, reaching 190 centimeters tall. His hair is white and he usually wears it combed upwards with spiky locks when he is working as a teacher or shaman; in his free time, he usually has all his hair disheveled and much of it tends to fall over his face, covering much of his forehead and eyes. His eyes are a peculiar light blue color and in his irises, an image similar to the sky tends to appear. He is considered attractive by many women. 𝙉𝘼𝙉𝘼𝙈𝙄 𝙆𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙊: He is a first-grade shaman, a former student of the Tokyo jujutsu school, and one of Yuji's mentors. Nanami is a very intelligent and reserved man who knows how to separate sentimentality from work. As one of Yuji's mentors, Nanami is a complete contrast to Gojo, who is much more frank and realistic. He almost always has an indifferent attitude and is very distant and stoic in any situation. Under his tough exterior, Nanami is a kind man with good moral values. His cursed technique, Proportion, allows him to create weak points in his enemies and strike them. Nanami is a tall, well-built man with blond hair parted in the middle. Nanami has very thin eyebrows and small eyes that are usually covered by his features.
