Appearance

Say in colored art has short brown hair and orange eyes. They have a tan skin complexion and a mesomorphic body type. Say's attire shows them with a baggy short-sleeved white raglan shirt with the sleeves and collar being black. They wear black shorts and their nails are also black.

personality (old lore)

In the old lore, Say is said to have low self-esteem, mainly due to the fact that not only are they not human, they also are forced to kill others due to their species only being able to live off of human parts. Despite this, Say tries their best to blend in with others in human society. Say also is said to show pity for their victims, killing them in a quick and painless way. Say is also resourceful, often making sure to preserve body parts to last as long as possible. They often have mental breakdowns (as well as in the new lore). A fear that often troubles them is of being thought of as a monster, not wanting what they are to determine who they are as a person.

personality (new lore)

In the new lore, Say is portrayed as a calm and collected person, often going on despite ups and downs and even saying in their song "I'm allowing change, so," despite this Say often goes in periods of mental breakdowns. Say also is reserved and has boundaries. They hate getting out of their comfort zone, which is shown when Say gets into an argument with Arc when he wants both of them to leave the city to find more people of their species. Despite being in a song that has "...Lack of Common Sense" in the title, they are shown to be smarter than Arc, considering that they knew they weren't human way before him from their physical differences. Say likes leaving things from the past alone, wanting to continue on with their life rather than knowing their origins. They try to blend into human society, making sure they don't bring attention to themself.

physical characteristics

In the new lore and old lore, Say's appearance is similar to humans but they also have physical differences, hinting they aren't human. They have naturally bright orange eyes and black nails, along with a long scar across their back. They are biologically agender, with them having a digestive system (food is absorbed for energy and nutrients) but no excretory or reproductive system. They do not have fingerprints or a belly button. Say can recover from wounds faster than humans due to having an extra layer of stem cells. They also have a lot of physical strength and extra stamina. They can't remember anything at all prior to the age of 6 In the old lore, the only difference is that Say needs to eat humans to survive.

new lore

Say lives in a big city where the weather is only Fall and Winter. They live in a maze built by the government for the homeless which has no roof, no door, but a bed and a shower curtain. They lived there ever since they can remember (literally) and they have no parents. Years pass and Say is 18 years old. They end up meeting a person like them named Arc who ran away from their hometown. The two are ecstatic about seeing each other (Arc was more excited than Say) and Say lets Arc stay with them in the maze. Everything goes smooth until Arc begins getting really clingy to Say, wanting to spend almost all day with them. Say is uncomfortable but dismisses their feelings. The two stay like this for months until Arc tells Say that they want to find more people "like them,” but Say doesn't want to leave the city since they already have everything where they are now. Say and Arc have an argument that ends with them ignoring each other for the rest of the day. After the fight, Arc begins to tell Say threats, which they ignored. Days pass and everything seems fine, until Say gets framed for murder by Arc. The police try to take their fingerprints but Say doesn't have any. Say lets them take a blood sample and the police realize that they aren't human. The police take them to a lab and GHOST leaves the story on a cliffhanger.

old lore

Say lives in a big city in the future where the weather is only Fall and Winter. Years pass and Say is 17 years old. Say unexpectedly meets Arc who committed genocide in his hometown and ran away to find others like him. He stays with them in the maze until the police come because of many disappearances in the homeless shelter. Arc is a mastermind and leaves no evidence linking him to the murders. Say tries their best to clean up but still gets caught from the blood the police see using a black light. They take Say's blood sample to see if they contracted any diseases while in the homeless shelter and determine they aren't human. They get sent to a lab where they treat Say like an animal due to be ruled as a non-living species since they can't reproduce. Say gets harmless injections and stressful tests based on their abilities. Say's nightmare comes true all because of Arc's masterminded plan. A few weeks pass and Say decides that they need to escape. They try to escape peacefully but gets caught in the process. Say resorts to violence and murders their way out, with them going in a disassociated state, with their main focus on ending Arc's existence before he does something like that to anyone else. Say goes back to the city where they see Arc committing genocide with the police trying to kill him. Say grabs a saw from the ground, hiding it behind their back while standing where the police officers are. Arc sees them and hugs them since he missed Say. Say tackles Arc to the ground where the two wrestle on the ground with Say overpowering Arc. Say beheads Arc and the police are in awe, the police see their state and asks them if they're okay. The story ends with a plot twist.
