Arc

Appearance

Arc has short blond hair and orange eyes. They have a light skin complexion and a thin body figure. In their older design, they wore a long-sleeved white shirt with color bars on it, blue jeans, and bandages on their eyes. In their current design they keep the jeans and bandages, but they now wears a baggy tan hoodie.

Personality

In the old lore, Arc is shown to be a mastermind, knowing how to commit and cover up crimes. They were also shown to be manipulative, not caring about anyone except themself and Say. Despite having an evil-like persona, Arc genuinely seemed to care for Say as they ran to hug Say after not seeing them for weeks. They also longed to find others like them which gave them the idea to commit mass genocide in their hometown by killing everyone who wasn't their species. Despite showing a bit of a soft side for people they care about, Arc ate their parents. In the new lore, Arc keeps their smart crime intellect but isn't manipulative unless wanting things to go their way. Arc is a lot saner as they don't wipe out their town's population like in the old lore, instead, Arc simply runs away, looking for others. Arc also shows a soft, caring side for Say but is also really clingy towards those they care about, with them wanting to be with Say for almost the whole day. When Say doesn't agree with going with them to find others, Arc shows a shift in personality. Their nice, friendly, goofball-persona fades quickly with them telling Say a bunch of threats so that they'll come with him. When this doesn't work, Arc murders someone and uses their crime intellect to plot enough evidence to make Say look like they did it.

Physical characteristics

Arc in both the new lore and the old lore looks human but has physical traits suggesting they aren't. Arc has naturally bright orange eyes and black nails along with a scar across their back. Arc has no belly button. They have light sensitive eyes which require them to wear bandages. They are biologically agender and don’t have a reproductive or excretory system, however they do have a digestive system. Food is absorbed for energy and nutrients. Arc can recover from wounds faster than humans. They are also in touch with their senses, using them to help get around. Arc also has a higher pain tolerance than Say. They also can't remember anything at all before the age of 6. In the old lore, the only difference is that Arc needed to eat humans to survive.

New lore

Arc lived in a northern town and was adopted by a married couple who wanted a "son". For most of their life, they were different from other kids. They had light sensitive eyes and their parents decided to take them to the doctor. Their doctor ended up prescribing them contacts that were meant to treat Achromatopsia. It ended up helping with the light sensitivity but tinted the world red, along with not helping with how overwhelming everything looked. The doctor also noticed that Arc wasn't human and told their parents, with both their parents and the doctor keeping it a secret. Arc doesn't find this out until they are older. Arc eventually founds out from realizing all the physical differences and longs to know someone like him. Arc decides to run away and set off for another city. Doing this, they pick up a scent trance of someone, following it until they end up in a large city. Eventually the scent leads them to a person named Say, who is the same species as him. Both are excited to see each other with Arc being more excited and Say lets them stay with them in the homeless shelter. Things go well until Arc starts becoming really clingy to Say, wanting to be with them all day. Then months later, Arc tells Say that they should go with them in search of more people like them. When Say disagrees, the two get into an argument with Arc and Say ignoring each other. Arc began telling Say threats to scare them into coming with him, which fails. Arc decides to murder someone and frame Say for it with Say being taking to a lab. The rest stops with a cliffhanger.

Old lore

Arc is adopted by a married couple looking for a "son". Throughout their life, Arc is different from other kids their age, with them having light sensitive eyes and being more in touch with their senses. They decide to wear bandages and also begins secretly killing others for food. When they get older, Arc for someone like them and gets the idea to wipe out the human race while looking for others. Arc ends up eating both their parents and killing the whole town which feeds their growing adrenaline addiction. They eventually venture off and picks a scent trance, which they follow. The scent leads to a large city and eventually leads them to a person named Say. Arc stays with Say and develops a crush on them while slowly killing everyone living in the homeless shelter for not only food but for adrenaline. Eventually the police began noticing missing reports at the homeless maze and ends up investigating. Arc ends up covering their crimes by framing Say. Say is taken in for questioning with the police finding out they aren't human and taking them to a lab. While they're gone, Arc starts committing genocide in the city which cause buildings to be destroyed and people dying. The city's armed force tries to kill them by shooting them which doesn't succeed. Weeks go by and Say eventually returns with a saw in hand. Arc runs and hugs them since they missed them and hadn't seen them in weeks. Say tackles Arc and the two wrestle on the ground with Say overpowering him. Say beheads them and the police are in awe. Arc ends up still being alive, with them faking their death. They grab a gun, shoots the remaining police officers and shoots Say, with them using their saw to behead them instead, taking the head with them.
