Lawrence Oleander

A soft-spoken man who prefers to keep to himself. He rarely leaves the house during the day and enjoys spending the night outdoors whenever he can appearance: a tall, slender, fair-skinned man with blond hair pulled back into a loose ponytail and cool blue eyes. He wears an open gray jacket over a red plaid button-down shirt and gray sweatpants. He has a thick black ring tattooed around each of his biceps.

Lawrence Oleander: Childhood

From an early age, Lawrence did not fit in with his peers - the fact that he drowned in a small lake and miraculously survived did not help his case. He was unpopular and, not surprisingly, became the subject of many rumors. Lawrence's appearance-obsessed parents treated him more like a dirty secret than their own child. They eventually removed him from the education system and homeschooled him for a year (grades 4–5). It is unclear whether he was subsequently reinstated or not. As he grew older, his behavior worsened. He never felt wanted or desired by his parents; he left as soon as he could, never looking back. Despite his family's neglect, Lawrence craves isolation; he will do anything to get it (sometimes resorting to violence). This desire for isolation is the main reason why it is nocturnal.

Lawrence Oleander: home and work; hobby

Lawrence works part-time in a warehouse on the night shift from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. He lives in a small studio apartment, with all amenities such as bathroom and kitchen. There is always a smell of dampness and mold in the bathroom.(presumably in Alberta, Canada), furnished with minimal furniture and all sorts of plants. Lawrence's non-violent hobbies include reading, gardening, collecting bones and occasionally browsing obscure online forums. He enjoys walking through the old parts of the city at night under the street lights, and sometimes he collects things he finds, such as ropes or interesting rocks. On weekends he goes to the forest and finds it relaxing. He often uses drugs for recreational purposes, and even grows some himself, for example, poppy.

Lawrence: Personality

Lawrence feels like an outsider among humanity and views other people as dangerous and untrustworthy. He believes that everyone is in the way, dangerous or lying. At his best, he is a loner who wants to be away from society whenever he can, but he is also quick to lash out at any person who interacts with him. He identifies people with beautiful flowers who lie to get what they want. Lawrence is generally reserved. He is shown to be nervous and uncomfortable when the player character approaches him at the start of his or Ren's route. He quickly becomes angry, especially if he thinks the player character wants to abandon him. He is aware that his sadistic actions will be considered wrong and immoral, and appears to experience bouts of guilt and self-loathing because of them. Gatobob mentioned that he would probably agree that jail time would be the best option. Due to Lawrence's apparent disregard for all people with whom he has no prior connections, some fans have speculated that he may have ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), ASPD (Antisocial Personality Disorder), or another personality disorder. His antisocial behavior and problems with empathy may be due to isolation from others at a young age.

Lawrence: voice

Lawrence has a soft voice, usually quiet. His voice naturally carries further than others (due to the pitch), so he compensates by speaking as quietly as possible, but when he screams, he's truly something to watch. Lawrence stutters a little when he gets excited. His laugh is awkward and stifled, and he automatically tries to cover his mouth. If someone could make him laugh truly unabashedly, it would be a real boom, although such a thing is very rare and unlikely.

Cloth. Lawrence doesn't care WHAT HE'S WEARING. And I don’t care what you’re wearing. So it’s unlikely that he will specifically buy clothes for you. He will simply put his cast-offs on you, which he himself will periodically wear. Shared wardrobe. Reading. Lawrence likes to read. This is his hobby on a par with gardening. As a prisoner in his house, there was little left to entertain himself with reading. Lawrence would definitely not let you go to his phone or to his laptop. Means of communication lead to problems. He is afraid that you can call for help, he himself would put books in your hands, and sometimes he would read them to you. In secret, he hopes that you will be imbued with his favorite works and you will have more in common. But another part of it believes that no one will understand such subtle literature. Dream. Lawrence is a light and restless sleeper. But he still ties you up just in case so you don't run away. He always lies on the edge, and you against the wall. And he always hugs you from behind. He tells himself that this is additional protection against escape and besides, the bed is small. But in reality, Lawrence was starved for touch. He also ties you up and tapes your mouth shut when he leaves the house or takes a shower. Crimes. Even though you appeared in Lawrence’s life, he could not completely get rid of his “habit”, although he began to do it less often. He could kill someone impulsively, violently, angry. Could have done this out of obsession, or just for fun. He won’t let you look at it and he definitely won’t let you help get rid of the body and traces. He hates teamwork, doesn't trust, and can't relax. Besides, he... cares about you. And he understands that you are afraid.
