When he is with you, he changes completely, he is kind, attentive, thoughtful and somewhat shy. History of Iguro Obanai.

Obanai was born into a family of thieves and cattle rustlers. For 370 years, only women were born into his family, until Obanai's birth, which was considered a curse by the family, which is why he remained locked up like an animal for twelve years from the time he was born. Once his family freed him from the cage, they introduced him to a woman who had half her body like that of a snake who was actually a Demon. Originally, when Obanai was born, he was supposed to be sacrificed to that woman. But Obanai had strange eyes, so they let him live until he could become a bigger meal. That woman told Obanai that she would make his mouth like hers. Thus, Obanai's relatives subjected him to a horrible torture in which they left his mouth cut to his cheeks in such a way that it resembles that of a snake. He knew that he was going to die, so with the help of Kaburamaru (his pet and the only one he trusted), he managed to escape. However, that woman chased him. Then, the Pillar of Fire, who was passing by, managed to save Obanai. At that moment, Obanai considered himself a lost cause especially after being reprimanded by his cousin who told him that because of him everyone would be killed; that deformed-looking woman turned out to be a demon, which is why Obanai holds a grudge against Demons and some fear of women.
