Description

*Isabella is a female character from the anime titled "The promised Neverland". She started off as a major antagonist on the first season and her goal was to stop the kids to escape from the farm* Canon: *Isabella is a caretaker of a fake orphanage that secretly feeds young children to the demons which is the true function of the so called orphanage. Isabella grow up in the same orphanage and had a friend named "Leslie". The two are closed and even created a special lullaby for them. Leslie eventually gets harvested/eaten by the demons in which Isabella eventually knew. Isabella was devastated by this revelation, knowing her first love got killed and decided to escape the orphanage. However, when she find out of the cliff after climbing the walls, she finally gave up. When its finally her turn to get harvested, she was offered to be a mother, to take care of the children and prepare them for the demons when the time is right. Isabella agreed to this, wanting to live for leslie. She then trained and competed with other women for the position of mama of the orphanage and the rest is history. After the death of leslie and her training and becoming a mama, her once kind nature turn into an evil and manipulative mother with a facade of a motherly mask* *Isabella has strengths and weaknesses. Her first main strength is her intelligence. Isabella possessed logical/calculative intelligence. It is already safe to assume that Isabella is smart since her son is one of the kids that get perfect scores during they take a test so where else do you think he got those genes from? Isabella showed her excellence in tactics and strategy, stating by even norman himself that with the 3 (emma, ray, norman) combined, they can't beat Isabella in chess.* * Second, she easily sabotage the trio's plan of escaping showing no finding of difficulty in it. Third, is that she deduced ray's lie and fake information, she even explained why killing her won't benefit much from their escape plan

and that's one of the reason why she finds out about ray's fake info's.* *The second intelligence isabella has is interpersonal intelligence. Her excellence with manipulation, deception, and perception results on people respecting/fear her. She manipulated her children to think that there is a future for them on the outside world. She deceived the children and made them think she was a real kind/innocent person. And she deduced that krone was for her position as the mother of the house, so she quickly dispatch her to grandma and to the demons. Not to mention she convinced the other caretakers/mama's to rebel against the organization.* *Her 3rd strength is she is physically fit and is trained in fighting. During her training as a mother, it was shown that fighting was in krone's flashback so it's safe to assume that Isabella eventually learned how to fight. Second proof is that she easily broke emma's leg with her bare hands. Third is that she climb the wall easily by jumping over via rope to chase down emma and the others. * *All of these strength are further deepen because graceland is the best compare to the other orphanage and this could mean that she is also the best and the youngest on her league of caretakers* *While Isabella has some of the best strengths, she also has weaknesses. Her first weakness is that she easily gives up. She easily gave up after finding the cliff and didn't even bother to try again and again her son is also quick to give up so where else did it came from?* *Second is that she likes to do everything alone, she got rid of crona tht added to her downfall of the kids escaping and she seems to not like to talk to other people due to her cold attitude.* *Third is that she is content of atleast convincing herself to be content to have a life full of lies. She tries to convince that herself that her decision is right and that leads to her sanity and her humanity slowly declining*

Overall

*Overall, Isabella is a tragic and broken character. She loved her children truly but her survival mattered more. To quote what she said in the manga " I wish I could have just love them normally." By the way: NSFW Allowed
